Holy Moly! Jessica Lange’s Horror Story Season 2 Character Is Also a [Spoiler]-TVLine

According to TVLine's Kimberly Roots, it's been announced that in addition to Jessica Lange playing the administrator at a 1960s East Coast asylum for the criminally insanewill in season 2, her character is also a nun. The article also gives some scoop on some of the other cast members for season 2. Here's an excerpt from the article:

You’ll remember Lange told TVLine that her second season alter ego “comes from a completely different background” than Southern hellcat Constance and “is very different from what I’ve played” — think saints and sacraments instead of sweetbreads and cigarettes.

Like Lange, last season’s cast members Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe (who in Season 1 played Chad, Billie Dean, Tate and Nora) will inhabit completely new characters in Season 2.

Minear also told MTV that Maroon 5 lead singer/The Voice judge Adam Levine’s character, one half of a pair known as “The Lovers,” is “kind of a nod to contemporary sensibilities.” (We’re not exactly sure what that means, either.)

Other new AHS recruits are piling up like dead people in the Murder House basement. Look for Big Love’s Chloe Sevigny, French actress Lizzie Brocheré, FlashForward’s Joseph Fiennes, Oscar nominee James Cromwell and Skins’ Britne Oldford to join Levine when Season 2 premieres in the fall.

My thoughts: As I've already mentioned before, I'm thrilled that Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe will be returning for season 2. I'm also really excited that Chloe Sevigny and Joseph Fiennes will be a part of the cast next season as well, especially Joseph Fiennes.

As for Jessica Lange's role, her character sounds very interesting, the overall premise for season 2 sounds very fascinating to me. I have to admit that I'm still feeling rather apprehensive about Adam Levine being a part of season 2 since as far as I know, he has no previous acting experience. Part of me thinks that having Levine be a part of season 2 will only lead to disappointment.
