But so far, there are no plans for Dave Karofsky to return. "I certainly hope [Dave returns], but I don't know," Max tells us. "I have not been told, so [Tuesday's episode] could wrap it up." At least he got a great ending, right?

TVLINE | How big a role will you be playing on the show moving forward?
I won’t be in the next episode after that, but as for the future? There’s [nothing certain]. I would love to portray this character the rest of my life. It’s an incredible experience and I’ve learned so much. It’s just been a complete dream to have this opportunity. But as far as actually knowing what’s happening down the road? I don’t know; we’ll just have to see what happens.

TVLINE | So this week’s episode could potentially be your swan song?
It could end here. But my personal thought is that there might be something else down the line to show where Karofsky goes post-hospital. But that’s all up to the writers. They’ve done everything amazingly well and treated this character with incredible consistency and honesty and integrity. Whatever they do, I think it will be genius.

Ausiello: A Fringe source tells me it’s a distinct possibility we’ll see Charlie again, but there’s nothing on the books at the moment. And don’t administer last rites to the show just yet. Despite those apocalyptic Nielsens, Fringe very much remains in the hunt for another season. One scenario allegedly being bandied about has it returning for a final 15-episode run. If that happens I will be an extremely happy person.

My thoughts: I personally can't wait to see how the truth about Ivy being an imposter comes out and what the aftermath of that is going to be like. Besides the Dan and Blair relationship, Ivy's storyline has been one of my favorite things about season five.

4) Naia Kete (Team Blake) | Drew Barrymore with Dreads displayed a sweet quavery tone – and finished powerfully – on “The Lazy Song.” Blake’s got a definite type, yes?

3) Charlotte Sometimes (Team Blake) | There’s a hint of old-time screwball comedy in her delivery, but it’s more organic than affected. Never hurts when all four judges turn.

2) Mathai (Team Adam) | Baby-voiced intro, full-growling chorus, and deft rapid-fire bridge on “Rumour Has It.” J’adore her, and I don’t even know her last name.

Revenge | That fleeting “knowing” look between Nolan and Takeda at the Fire & Ice ball would suggest/confirm that the Internet titan has a revengenda not necessarily in line with Emily’s. And an “all-flashback” episode on tap for the back half of Season 1 may shed light on that. “You’re going to start finding out how Nolan went from a Pearl Jam-loving Seattle grunge musician standing outside of an Escalade with an infinity box to a Peter Pan-looking, popped-collar guy,” Gabriel Mann tells us. The reveal of that transition, he says, will directly inform Nolan’s recent antics — including but not limited to what he may have been up at behind Em’s back at the engagement soiree.

NCIS | It’ll be a Freaky Tuesday next week when Mark Harmon reunites with Jamie Lee Curtis, who on Feb. 21 and then March 20 is guesting as Dr. Samantha Ryan of the PsyOps Division. Do we sense a possible spark? “Her character is sharp and funny and witty and determined,” series boss Gary Glasberg shares. “They’re going to have a lot of fun together.” Noting that Harmon and Curtis have known each other for years, and costarred in 2003′s Freaky Friday, Glasberg when I spoke to him was “excited about getting them on-screen together and seeing how that chemistry comes across.” The showrunner is quick to acknowledge, though, that since Gibbs has quite a history with redheads, “this is a departure from that — and yet I think people are going to find it engaging and fun.”
