On the fifth-year series, Weber will recur as Mark, a ruggedly handsome former bad-boy who has turned his life around and is now a chef and food truck owner that caters to the particular tastes in the famous ZIP code.
Weber's 90210 character is said to be similar to his Underemployed role as Todd, who stirs up trouble with an inter-office romance with his unpaid intern, Daphne (Sarah Habel).

My thoughts: I've never watched Underemployed, so I can't comment on Charlie Weber's acting, but I'm anxious to see whose storyline that his character is going to be involved in. I can't think of any logical connection that his character could have to one of characters on 90210 at this point in the season. Since they mentioned that he's a chef and a food truck owner, I'm going to guess that maybe Navid is going to hire him to work at The Offshore now that he's running it. My next guess would be Naomi since she throws a lot of parties on the show. Perhaps she'll hire him to cater a party and since the role is recurring, I'm going to guess that he'll become romantically involved with one of the women on the show since that's typically how 90210 works. Regardless of who his character ends up interacting with, I'm anxious to see how he'll fit into the show, especially since I'm really enjoying season 5 so far.
