Let me start off by saying that for the record, I haven’t read any of
the books from the Fifty Shades of Grey books, so I have no idea what
the character Christian Grey is like. That being said, I’ve kind of been
following some of the news about the movie that had been announced
prior to this casting decision, and I for one am shocked that Charlie
Hunnam has been cast as the male lead in the movie. I definitely wasn’t
expecting that at all. It really makes me want to start watching Sons of
Anarchy, and I kind of want to read the Fifty Shades of Grey books now.
This is definitely what I would consider to be a very surprising
casting decision.
