If you were hoping for romance, I wouldn’t hold your breath. “I see them as buddy cops,” showrunner Michael Chernunchin tells me. “If you were doing a buddy cop movie, that’s what they’ll be. I mean, they’ll get closer too, but romantically, I don’t think so.”
