With the new seasons of TV shows either just starting or about to start, I thought that I would decide which shows I’ll be writing thoughts posts (reviews) for every episode. The following shows are the shows that I’ve decided to blog about every week:
- It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia
- 90210
- Gossip Girl
- Parenthood
Since my Gossip Girl and 90210 thoughts posts appear to be the most popular shows in terms of how many page views those posts get on my BlogSpot The Random Thoughts of a Writer blog account, I will continue to blog about those shows this season, especially since I’m a huge fan of both of those shows. They also appear to be fairly popular on my The Random Thoughts of a Writer Tumblr blog as well, so I will be posting them there as well. I’ve decided to also blog about season seven of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia since my posts pertaining to the show appear to be pretty popular on Tumblr. I still haven’t been able to figure out if the people who are viewing these posts on my BlogSpot account are genuinely interested in the show or are simply curious about it, but since It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia appears to be pretty popular on Tumblr, I’ll be blogging about that show and posting my thoughts posts on both blogs for anyone who’s interested in reading them and wants to check them out.
I’m not completely sure about how old the majority of the people who check out my blogs a fair amount are, but I don’t want to limit myself to blogging about shows (writing reviews) geared towards teenagers, so I’m going to try and start writing reviews for other shows besides Gossip Girl and 90210 that are geared to a more adult audience to try and capture some older people’s interest to my blogs in case the majority of my current readers are fairly young. This is part of the reason why I’ve decided to start blogging about It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and Parenthood this year.
One new show that I’m really looking forward to is The Playboy Club. Based on the previews that I’ve seen for the show, I think it looks really good, so I’ll definitely be watching at least the series premiere, which is this Monday. If I end liking the show and it gets picked up for a full season, I’ll continue to write reviews for each episode of the show this year. Either way I’m going to start writing thoughts posts for the show as soon as The Playboy Club starts on Monday.
I’ll definitely blog about Modern Family when season three starts, but I probably won’t write a thoughts post on each episode. Since season eight is going to be the final season of Desperate Housewives, I’ll probably blog about the episodes every once and a while as well. I didn’t really like season seven all that much and there weren’t very many episodes of the show that I felt compelled to watch twice and write reviews for them, so it will probably depend on how much time I have to write posts for my blog and how much I like the final season of Desperate Housewives as far as how I often I write about the show this year.
I’m in the middle of my last semester of college, and that’s already keeping me pretty busy, so at this point in time I can only commit to writing thoughts posts on each episode of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, 90210, Gossip Girl, Parenthood, and possibly The Playboy Club every week. Given the fact that season seven of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia will only have fourteen episodes and season three of Parenthood will only have sixteen episodes, I might start writing thoughts posts for other shows every week that I was previously only writing reviews for from time to time as It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and Parenthood finish their seasons.
As I mentioned earlier, I will post all of my reviews on both my blogs, which I’ve included links to both my BlogSpot blog and my Tumblr page towards the end of this post for those who are reading this post on my Facebook page or on Tumblr.
