Sasha Pieterse Previews Pretty Little Liars Season 2B-TVLine

If Pretty Little Liars fans were granted one wish, it would most likely be for definitive explanations to any of the show’s countless mysteries. Well, according to Sasha Pieterse — the actress behind Rosewood’s ill-fated Alison — that wish is about to come true, because Season 2B (premiering Monday, Jan. 2 at 8/7c on ABC Family) has plenty of ‘em.


“Fans should be really excited for a lot of things [in Season 2B],” Pieterse tells TVLine. “But mainly they should look forward to answers.”

The actress explains that Liars‘ standalone Halloween-themed prequel (which aired last month) actually sets into motion the events of the upcoming winter season. “There were a lot of cute clues from that episode,” she says. “You’re going to see the tie between several of those webs… And you have not seen the girls like you’re about to see them — especially in the first few episodes!

“You’ll be seeing more of Alison, too,” Pieterse continues with a laugh. “I don’t know how much I can tell you, [but] it’s definitely [in a way] fans have never seen before.”

Pieterse, unable to reveal too much about the soon-to-air installments, adds that while “the Liars definitely get some payback on ‘A’ in the second half of the season,” the mysterious troublemaker is still “always a step ahead…” (With reporting by Vlada Gelman)
