Modern Family: Scoop from the Television Critics Association winter press tour

Here's some scoop on Modern Family from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich that he got while he was attending the Television Critics Association winter press tour:

Modern Family man Steven Levitan then went on to share that an upcoming of his show would find li’l Lily blurting the F-word. “We don’t actually get into [where she picked it up],” he said. “We just get into the fact that sometimes what happens in life is kids stumble on a word, and when they see the reaction it becomes their go-to word for a while.” (In full disclosure, Levitan said the girl who plays Lily actually said “fudge” on-camera, then was bleeped and blurred.) 

Also ahead on Modern Family is a new leg in the Fizbo the Clown story, when Bobby Cannavale guest-stars as the other half of the onetime comedy team known as Fizbo & Louis. “There was a bitter break-up, like Martin and Lewis,” Levitan shared. “And [he and Cam] get back together because they’re attending a funeral…of a clown mentor.”
