Question: Been loving this the HIMYM season thus far! Any more hints on the identity of Barney’s bride? My gut still hopes it’s Robin. —Cheryl
Ausiello: I’m not sure if this qualifies as a hint, but executive producer Carter Bays tells us Season 8 will find Robin enjoying the company of a new man. “There will be a new romance for her next year, definitely,” he reveals. “We already have some ideas for that.” So, what’s the verdict — was that a hint?

Ausiello: Not true. I answered a question you had about Tru Calling back in 2004 when I was writing for TV Guide. Nice try. You forget I fact check all of my questions. But no hard feelings. Here’s your HIMYM scoop, directly from Mr. Bays: “In the finale, we pay off something we set up in the episode ‘Disaster Averted.’” (Hmm… could it be slap bet related?)
