SEASON 2 TEASE | “She gets to experiment with a little more power, throwing that around in the right or the wrong way [at school],” teases Desi Lydic. While Val usually gives out the worst advice with the best of intentions, “There's one part in particular this season where I feel Valerie finally gets it right. She stands up for what she believes in.”
MOST AWKWARD MOMENT | Does every breathing moment count? “Valerie is always in the most awkward situations, but she has no idea how awkward she is,” says Lydic. “She thinks she's like a supermodel.”
TEAM MATTY OR JAKE? | “I'm really split,” admits Lydic, earning a place in our hearts forever with a Beverly Hills, 90210 reference. “I was always a Brandon Walsh kind of gal. The good guy, the class president... He just seemed like a really solid guy. But now, looking back, I kind of go, 'Dylan McKay wasn't so bad.' Maybe high school would have been a good time to have a little Dylan McKay in my life. So I don't know. Now I'm a little bit torn.” We totally get it.
