My thoughts: I stopped watching Glee after its second season, so I can't comment on Grant Gustin's acting, but it will be interesting to see how he fits into 90210. I really wish that the show would've released more information about Gustin's role. I'm really excited to see which character's storyline Grant Gustin will be involved in. If I had to guess, my guess would be that he'll be involved with Naomi or Navid's storyline since they both come from rich families and it sounds like his character also comes from a wealthy family.
That being said, I have to say that I'm really enjoying season five so far. It's way too early for me to judge how I would rank season 5 compared to seasons 1 through 4, but I would say that I'm definitely enjoying season five more than I liked the first few episodes of season 4. The writing for 90210 has always had the tendency to be incredibly ridiculous, but in my opinion the writing for the first three episodes of season 5 was slightly less preposterous than the beginning of season 4. That's not saying much when it comes to the quality of the writing for 90210 though.
