Here's a post from one of my Tumblr pages, which is called, Insanely Flawed, Insanely Lovable...Always Taylor. I'm posting it here in order to try and get more followers for that particular Tumblr page. Please, take a look at it, and if you like what you see, follow me, and I'll follow you back. Thanks! :)
Even when the writers do have new ideas for storylines this season, I feel like they are rather lackluster. The whole thing with Cameron and Mitchell’s plans to adopt a baby not working out, only to have Gloria find out that she was pregnant right after that was beyond stupid, if you ask me. I really hope that the writers get their act together soon, because it’s no longer as amazing as it once was, and Modern Family has been bumped down to the #4 slot on my list of favorite comedies. Right now if I had to rank my favorite comedies, I would rank them as followed: 1) It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia 2) New Girl 3) Happy Endings 4) Modern Family
Depending on how much I like the episode, sometimes even The Big Bang Theory bumps Modern Family down to the #5 slot. I love The Big Bang Theory, but the idea that I sometimes find myself liking that show more than Modern Family these days is kind of sad for me to think about considering the fact that Sheldon is constantly annoying the hell out of me now. One thing is for sure though, the honeymoon phase is over for me and Modern Family.

Don’t me wrong, I still love Modern Family, but I definitely think that so far season 4 has been the most disappointing season of the show. Sometimes I feel like the writers are running out of new ideas, so they basically recycle storylines from previous seasons, such as Jay having to deal with Gloria’s bad singing. When they did a storyline in season 2 where Gloria was using a karaoke machine that Jay gave her for a present, it wasn’t very funny then, and the whole thing with Gloria singing to the baby in utero was even less funny.
