Suits: Renewed by USA Network for a Fourth Season-TVLine

Suits Renewed Season 4

According to TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich, USA Network has renewed Suits for a fourth season, which will consist of 16 episodes. Here's an excerpt from the article:

The 16-episode Season 4 will premiere sometime in 2014. The final six episodes of the third season are set to unspool during the first quarter of 2014, after NBC’s Winter Olympics coverage has wrapped.

“As a leading cable drama, Suits is at the top of its game and continues to grow in the key demographics, drawing a passionate, young and loyal audience,” USA president Chris McCumber said in a statement. “[Series creator] Aaron Korsh consistently pushes the boundaries of storytelling and the series promises to deliver a provocative fourth season.”

My thoughts: This news doesn't really come as a surprise to me at all. Suits' ratings are pretty good for USA Network's standards as far as I can tell. It's always nice to have a official confirmation that Suits or any TV show for that matter will be returning for another season though. Based on the first half of season 3, Suits is still on a roll creatively, if you ask me. While I really liked season two, I have to say that I'm enjoying season three even more.

When it comes to season two, the character Daniel Hardman really got on my nerves rather quickly, and he stuck around way too long for my taste. I didn't really care for the storyline with Ava Hessington in the first half of season three, mainly because I found the actress who played Ava annoying. It looks like that storyline is essentially over now anyway. That storyline was still more interesting than the storyline with Daniel Hardman in season two though, but I digress. That being said, I really am thrilled that Suits has been renewed for a fourth season, and I hope that the show will be on the air for many more years to come.
