Ausiello: Is couple a euphemism for sworn enemies? ‘Cause that’s pretty much what they are right now. And it’s for sure what they will be after next month’s 100th episode airs — as returning guest star John Noble all but confirms. “It’s quite tragic in some ways,” the Fringe vet says of Good Wife‘s milestone outing, which marks the return of his deceased character Matthew via flashback. “We know they started as really good friends [and became] passionate lovers. And now they’re in that state of bitter hatred that happens with ex-lovers sometimes. It’s not very pleasant, but it’s [true] to life.
