Don't hold your breath. Although Vanessa Ray will be series regular next season, "there's absolutely nothing on the horizon," executive producer Kevin Wade says. "We're more interested in growing the relationship professionally, but we do have fun with the hints." Look for a not-so-subtle one when the two help fast-track a green card marriage between a Syrian man and a Polish-American woman before he's deported in the season finale. As for the will-they-won't-they tension between Frank and Bebe Neuwirth's inspector general Kelly Peterson? She'll be back in the finale as well.
