According to TVLine's Kimberly Roots, Neil Jackson who guest-starred in a season 1 episode as Abraham Van Brunt AKA Ichabod's best friend will return for season 2 of Sleep Hollow in a heavily recurring capacity. Here's an excerpt from the article:
Sleepyheads will recall that Jackson’s character was a close pal of Ichabod’s — and a boyfriend of Katrina’s — before an unfortunate series of events turned him into the Headless Horseman.
In addition to playing Make It or Break It‘s Sasha, Jackson also has had roles on Flash Forward and CSI, as well as in the Bond film Quantum of Solace.
Jackson’s increased screen time jibes with what executive producer Ken Olin told TVLine last year. “I would imagine that we will definitely see [Abraham] more,” he said, noting that the first season’s cliffhanger was “based on the known history of the relationship between Katrina and the horseman’s former identity.”
He added: “That story has, by no means, been told yet.”

My thoughts: I have to be honest, I don't remember Neil Jackson's appearance in Sleepy Hollow's first season very well. That being said, I'm always excited to get scoop on what will be happening in season 2. Admittedly, I wasn't even planning to watch Sleepy Hollow since it was created by several of the executive producers of Fringe, and I often found Fringe that to be a very overrated and frustrating show to watch. In fact, I would say that Fringe is an absolutely mediocre show, but that's just my opinion. I decided to check out Sleepy Hollow after TVLine kept featuring quotes from the show in their columns about memorable quotes from various TV shows, and I always found the quotes from Sleepy Hollow rather clever and amusing. If you ask me, Sleep Hollow is a much better show and is definitely must see TV. I feel like the producers really learned from the mistakes and flaws that Fringe had and applied what they learned to help them make Sleepy Hollow a truly fantastic show. I can't wait for season 2 to start. :)
