Here's some scoop on Arrow from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 11/6/15.
What does the future look like for one or all of my favorite Arrow characters: Felicity, Oliver and Diggle? — Steph
I choose Diggle, specifically about how he’s handling the new information Damien Darhk provided about his brother’s death. “Diggle’s really dealing with the grief and sense of loss,” EP Wendie Mericle says. “He’s grieving two losses, really — the idea of who his brother was and confirmation of why his brother was murdered. The truth is, he knows that his brother was involved in this bad, shady stuff, but he doesn’t know how or when or why. He doesn’t know Andy’s point of view. He’s never heard Andy’s side of the story.” With that said, “We’ll definitely be seeing Andy coming up in future episodes and we’ll get some pretty shocking answers about what happened to him,” Mericle promises. Bonus: Since Mama Smoak is returning next week, I thought I’d also share this tidbit: “We’ll find out in future episodes that she’s going to be having a romantic relationship with somebody on the show,” Mericle says. “It’s going to be fun.” Guesses in the comments, but it’s totally this, right?
