When it comes to what actually happened to Jane, his involvement is still TBD. “One of Weller’s big arcs this season is trying to find some sort of solace with his father,” EP Martin Gero says. “He still lied about where he was the night she disappeared, and so as they try to mend their fences, all of that needs to get addressed.” However, his father’s recent breakdown “melted some of the ice around Weller’s heart a little bit, and so he’s in the direction of maybe realizing that he was wrong about his father.”
