Considering season 2 picks up right where season 1 left off, it’s safe to say Jace is still with Valentine when the show returns. Showrunner Todd Slavkin says that the season 2 premiere is going to be a crucial hour for Jace. “Jace learns an earth-shattering revelation about himself in the premiere that causes him to rethink what he’s all about,” Slavkin says. “Valentine is his father, so no matter how cruel Valentine is, there is this blood bond between them, and Jace is forced to examine a lot of things that he’s never thought about.”
