There seems to be some confusion over whether Delos was able to get Abernathy out of the park with the proprietary data. “I don’t think Abernathy got on that train; I don’t think any host got on that train — or any host that we’re aware of,” EP Jonah Nolan says. “When you see Lee head down to cold storage, he’s going there to retrieve Abernathy, and Abernathy is gone, so leave it up to your imagination.” In other words, although we didn’t see him in the horde of uprising robots, he is likely indeed on the loose within Westworld.
