I watch the Game Show Network pretty much every day, and they constantly play this commercial, and other commercials like this one, during the commercial breaks for pretty much every show that I watch on the channel. One thing I've noticed about this commercial and the other commercials for this company that I think is really weird is the fact that the name of final expense policy company seems to have changed several times over the years. For example, in this video the company is called Seniorcare USA, but whenever this commercial is shown lately, the company seems to be called Select Advisor.
That being said, regardless of whatever the deal is with this company's name is and why it frequently seems to change, this company's commercials are seriously the worst commercials that I've ever seen in my entire life. The writing for this company's commercials is incredibly ridiculous, and contrived. I don't buy the idea that this conversation that people would have with an elderly family member right after they've had a health scare. Plus, I think the acting in this company's commercials is beyond atrocious. I can't help, but wonder if the casting people for this company got these people from the cast of a church's Christmas program; only these people weren't a part of the main cast. Perhaps they were the understudies for the understudies for the main cast. I'm thinking that the careers of everybody involved in the making of this commercials (writers, director, producers, actors, etc.) flatlined the second the director yelled, "Cut!"
For those reasons, I just had to share this commercial in all its ridiculous glory with my readers.
