Question: Is the business with the male clones pretty much over with on Orphan Black? —LaShawna
Ausiello: Even though Rudy and several of his brothers died, executive producer Graeme Manson warns, “We’re not finished with our male clones. Mark’s still out there, and Ari Millen’s still in the cast for Season 4, I guarantee.” And with the last surviving Castor clone (that we know of) having earned Sarah’s trust, the question becomes, “If we can find our own cure, can we cure Mark? Is that a possibility for next season? Is Mark the one brother who’s earned the right to call himself a brother?”

You won’t get too much of him in the premiere episode, but I’m most intrigued by Miller, the military Castor clone. “Miller stepped on a land mine. He’s lost a leg, so his ability to be this killer soldier has gone by the wayside,” Ari Millen tells me. “Normally if a soldier comes home from war, he comes back to his family and he lives his life and tries to make the best of it. Miller’s family is the military and Project Castor. He can’t escape it, so how he’s coping with that is to be the ultimate soldier. He will not take pity from anyone. He will not let anyone help him.”

Is there anything you can say about the Castor clones we’ll be meeting on Orphan Black this season? — Amy
I pick Rudy, the one hanging out in the basement of Topside. “He likes to prove that he’s the smartest guy in the room by pushing people’s buttons and finding their thing and getting under their skin,” Ari Millen tells me. “He’s a trained soldier. He’s very dangerous. We’ll see that soldier mentality and that killer instinct and comaraderie of the Castor brothers, that sort of fraternity, but you’ll also see the viciousness and the craziness that is probably more of an act than a screw loose. But it’s all about intimidation.” Consider me intimidated already.
