Sons of Anarchy: Gemma related scoop and scoop on the series finale (Episode 7x13 "Papa's Goods") from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on Sons of Anarchy from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 11/18/14.

Matt: Tell me…is Gemma going to die on Sons of Anarchy?
We can't spoil that juicy little plot point, now can we?! But we can tell you that there will be another death before the show ends, and Katey Sagal promises that fans will be happy with how it all goes down "In terms of what happens to her next, I'm sure some people want her dead and I'm sure some people want her to live forever," Sagal said. "I can't really speak to where it's going, but the fans are going to be really satisfied with the ending. I think [executive producer] Kurt [Sutter] has spoken about this, about how he tried to approach it like it was another episode and the story keeps going, but I think it's very satisfying. And it was very satisfying filming it. Charlie Hunnam liked it too."

Fifty Shades of Grey: My thoughts on Charlie Hunnam being cast as Christian Grey in the movie adaptation

Let me start off by saying that for the record, I haven’t read any of the books from the Fifty Shades of Grey books, so I have no idea what the character Christian Grey is like. That being said, I’ve kind of been following some of the news about the movie that had been announced prior to this casting decision, and I for one am shocked that Charlie Hunnam has been cast as the male lead in the movie. I definitely wasn’t expecting that at all. It really makes me want to start watching Sons of Anarchy, and I kind of want to read the Fifty Shades of Grey books now. This is definitely what I would consider to be a very surprising casting decision.

Sons of Anarchy: Scoop on season 6 from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez

Here's some scoop on Sons of Anarchy from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez's The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 7/25/13.

Any fresh info on Sons? — Josh
Well, the new VP was revealed during this week’s Comic-Con panel (Congrats Chibs!), but while chatting with Charlie Hunnam earlier in the week, he teased that five episodes into filming the sixth season, he’s seeing the end of the line. (It’s been well publicized that the show is likely to finish up for good after season 7.) “Unfortunately, as much as it breaks my heart to say it, we are starting into the third act. We got to wrap this thing up. I’m really really nervous and I have anxiety already about having to take that cut off and say goodbye to Jax,” he said. “This has been far and away the deepest creative experience of my life. But we’re going to go out strong though. It’s Hamlet and the third act of Hamlet is pretty exciting. There’s going to be a reckoning and bodies are going to start dropping.” Is it Sept. 10 yet?

Sons of Anarchy: Scoop on the future of Jax and Tara's relationship in season 6 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Sons of Anarchy from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich's weekly column Matt's Inside Line for the week of 6/13/13.

When will Season 5 of Sons of Anarchy be available on Netflix? –Gerry
All I am able to confirm at this point is “in the fall” — but as compensation, I give you series star Charlie Hunnam promising “a tumultuous time” ahead for Jax and Tara, especially now that Jax has abandoned the idea of ever “getting out.” “I think at this point he realizes that he’s in it for life,” Hunnam says. “Last season was a real process of him embracing that and throwing himself into it with both feet, to cement the fact that he’s a lifer.”

Sons of Anarchy: Jax and Clay related scoop from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Sons of Anarchy from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich's weekly column Matt's Inside Line for the week of 11/30/12.

Sons of Anarchy | You may know, from a recent Entertainment Weekly interview, that Charlie Hunnam this season gave castmate Ron Perlman the big chill off camera as well as on, to help get into Jax’s mindset. Thing is, he didn’t alert Perlman to his Method-y madness. “I don’t mind saying it was a bit uncomfortable,” Clay’s portrayer tells us with a laugh. “I’ve loved him since we first started working together five years ago, so it was weird [wondering] if I pissed him off.” Especially since the two men have other projects they’re working on together and had to promote at this summer’s Comic-Con. “I was on my way there when I realized, ‘Holy s–t! I’m not just going to be with Charlie on the Sons of Anarchy panel; I’m going to be with him talking about Pacific Rim and Frankie Go Boom…. I’m going to have to manufacture some sort of bon ami.’ So when we were immediately thrown into a panel [for Pacific Rim], I just threw my arms around him and gave him a kiss and all this love.” And that thawed things… a little. “For the rest of the season after that, it was never as light and loose as it used to be,” Perlman reports, “but a lot of the tension had gotten removed — which was fine with me.”
