Grey’s Anatomy | It looks like Bailey’s runaway bride act — although for ostensibly a noble reason – will also send her man running in the other direction, and perhaps for good. Jason George, who was at the Television Critics Association press tour today to promote his ABC summer series Mistresses, gave me this ominous preview: “The reason when Ben and Bailey are together is because he isn’t a chump, he doesn’t take stuff lying down. And it’s safe to say he’s not the kind of guy who just gets left standing at the altar. So… we’re going to ‘have a conversation.’ He’s a man of action —I’ll put it that way!”

Grey's Anatomy Exclusive: Jason George Returns to Round Out Bailey Love Triangle-TVLine

After heading Off the Map for a brief spell, Jason George is returning to Grey’s Anatomy this fall to further complicate Bailey’s (Chandra Wilson) already complicated love life.


Sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that George will reprise his role as Bailey’s anesthesiologist ex for multiple episodes during Season 8.

Viewers last saw Dr. Ben in the Season 7 premiere when Bailey — still steamed that her beau was out golfing the day of the Seattle Grace massacre — formally dumped him. His return — slated for late October/early November — is sure put a crimp in Bailey’s current romance with Daniel Sunjata’s Nurse Eli.
