Anything about Chicago Fire‘s Casey that isn’t romance-related? —Kim
As a matter of fact, Jesse Spencer says that in this Tuesday’s episode, “Casey gets trapped in a [forklift accident] — it’s sort of an off-duty thing where just happens to be at the warehouse — and he has try and save people using nothing. It’s sort of like a MacGyver episode!”

Anything you can share about Chicago Fire? — Carlson
The boys of Chicago Fire are heading to NYC — but not for a crossover. Taylor Kinney, Jesse Spencer, and Eamonn Walker were filming at the 9/11 Memorial earlier this week for an episode titled “That Day,” which is slated to air Nov. 22. It’s inspired by the true story of Chicago firefighters who traveled to New York instantly after the towers fell to assist in search and rescue. Boden heads to New York because one of his firefighting brothers in the wake of 9/11 is now retiring from the NYFD. Severide and Casey join him at the memorial to honor those first responders who died on that terrible morning.

Chicago Fire: Scoop on the future of Casey's memory problems in season 3 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Chicago Fire from this week's (Posted on 8/12/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: On Chicago Fire, there were a few episodes that seemed to make a “big deal” about Casey’s concussion/memory problems.   Then… it’s not mentioned again. What happened? Did they figure it wasn’t a storyline worth pursuing? —Ed
Ausiello: Shockingly, the building explosion won’t bring those issues back to the surface — at least not in the near term. “Casey has chosen to continue on with this injury that could, down the road, rear its ugly head for sure,” says EP Matt Olmstead. “But in light of the devastation of this collapse, it puts into perspective what he has in terms of counting your blessings, essentially. It could always be worse.”

Chicago Fire: Scoop on Casey's storyline in season 2 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Chicago Fire from this week's (Posted on 8/6/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Got any Chicago Fire dirt? —Sara
Ausiello: Casey will have attained “some peace” about his girlfriend Hallie’s death when the Season 2 premiere picks up a month after the tragedy, star Jesse Spencer tells TVLine. The firefighter “develops a relationship with a couple of kids that he has to look after, and they help him through some difficult times, and he helps them. It’s nice. It’s an appropriate ending to the Hallie story.” Meanwhile, don’t look for Dawson to mend Casey’s broken heart — at least not in the short term. “They have a mutual understanding between each other,” explains Spencer. “There’s an attraction, but there’s a professionalism. They kind of put it to bed. You know as well as I do it’s going to resurface at some point — and probably sooner rather than later. [But] right now, they’re just friends.”

Here's some scoop on Chicago Fire from this week's (Posted on 8/1/13) Matt's Inside Line column.

After Hallie’s death on Chicago Fire, Casey seemed to be holding it together at work, but it turns out he was falling apart in his personal life. Will he reach out for help or continue on his downward spiral? –Stephanie
The answer may not be as dramatic as you envision. Rather, I’m hearing that Casey deals with Hallie’s death privately, and then moves on.
