Arrow: Oliver and Black Siren related scoop on season 6 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

http://images.buddytv.com/btv_2_506136249_0_350_10000_-1_/arrowblacksirenseaso.jpg

Here's some scoop on Arrow from this week's (Posted on 10/3/17) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: I’m returning to Arrow after a year break, thanks to the Katie Cassidy news. Do you have any Black Siren scoop to tie me over until October? —Helen
Ausiello: During an in-depth Q&A with Matt Mitovich, Stephen Amell indicated that of Team Arrow, “Oliver, ironically — and despite the fact that she allied herself with Adrian Chase — is the most hopeful one” when it comes to Black Siren perhaps one day being redeemed. “He’s like, ‘If theres a bit of Laurel in there, I want to find it.'” The feeling however is not at all mutual. As Amell puts it, stone-cold Black Siren feels “nothing” when she looks at the other Laurel Lance’s loved ones, Ollie included.

Arrow: Scoop on Katie Cassidy's return as Black Siren in episode 5x22 "Missing" and scoop on the season 5 finale (Episode 5x23 "Lian Yu") from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Arrow from this week's (Posted on 5/9/17) Matt's Inside Line column.

I am excited to have Katie Cassidy coming back to Arrow (on May 17), Black Siren is a badass villain. What can we expect? —Diana
You can expect… badass villainy. “She comes back as part of Chase’s plan,” says co-showrunner Wendy Mericle. ” Chase knows exactly what he’s doing, and he understands how unsettling seeing somebody that looks like Laurel Lance is going to be for the rest of the team,” her “dad” Quentin included. “And from a writing perspective, it’s just fun storytelling. Katie Cassidy does an amazing job as Black Siren, and seeing her take on Dinah, or her take on Lance, is going to be fun.”

This will be the first Arrow season finale that does not take place in Starling City. Can we expect the same kind of intense fights, or will this be more of an emotional showdown? —Nicole
Both,” answers Wendy Mericle. “One of the fun parts of having Prometheus and Oliver going toe-to-toe this season has been they’re both really great fighters, but by the same token, Prometheus is a tremendous psychological villain and he’s going to hit Oliver right where it hurts. That’s going to be a double whammy for him in the finale.”

Any scoop on Black Siren’s appearance on The Flash? — The Flash Podcast
It’ll be tough for everyone on Team Flash, though we should all remember that Cisco had a crush on Black Canary once upon a time. “Cisco reacts in a pretty unexpected way,” Carlos Valdes tells me. “There’s a little bit of a morbid shock, because the characters have an awareness to the fact that Laurel Lance is dead. That death had some effect on these characters in this world. So to see Black Siren, more than anything, is a shock to the senses. To know that someone relatively close to you is dead and to see a version of them still alive would be harrowing and jarring for anyone. There’s a bit of a disturbance there in terms of seeing her like that again.”

Here's some scoop on The Flash from this week's (Posted on 4/26/16) Matt's Inside Line column.

Do you know anything about the episode of The Flash that Katie Cassidy will be guest-starring in on May 17th? —Jill
“Like most of the Earth-Two metahumans, Black Siren is under the thumb of Zoom,” EP Todd Helbing tells me. That said, “She’s a very powerful metahuman,” EP Aaron Helbing notes. “She is sassy, strong and capable…. Katie really nailed the performance.”

How was The Flash’s Barry able to “run” to and from Laurel’s funeral (in the Arrow flash-forward) if he lost his speed on The Flash? —Ellen
When crossing over elements between the CW’s DC superhero shows, “Sometimes the schedules don’t line up exactly,” Flash EP Aaron Helbing laments. “Schedules change, and that stuff is out of our control.”

Arrow: Nyssa related scoop from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/images/uploads/Nyssa-Al-Ghul-Arrow-season3.jpg

Here's some scoop on Arrow from this week's (Posted on 3/10/15) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Got anything on Arrow? —April
Ausiello: Ra’s al Ghul’s offer to Oliver to replace him as the leader of the League of Assassins will shake things up for his daughter Nyssa in a big way. “She’s no longer heir to the demon,” notes her portrayer, Katrina Law. “She no longer has her lover, who I’m sure she was thinking about keeping around forever. She’s essentially lost everything. For the first time in her life, she is vulnerable and she feels weak and useless; it’s very jarring. You’re going to see Nyssa trying to figure out who she is and what she stands for now.” And that journey could lead her to find an ally in fellow daddy issues-plagued Laurel. Teases Law: “The two of them may have more in common than Nyssa originally thought.”

Arrow: Oliver related scoop on the season 3 finale from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Arrow from this week's (Posted on 3/3/15) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Anything cool coming up on Arrow? —Julie
Ausiello: The show’s Season 3 finale will introduce a major, formidable, fierce new foe for Oliver, and his reign of terror will continue well into Season 4. The mysterious character is being referred to internally as “Damian Dark,” which got Matt Mitovich and I (but mostly MM) pulling up and skimming the Wiki page of one Damian Wayne. Get it? Damian Wayne. Son of the Dark Knight. They’d probably have to tweak the Bruce Wayne connection, but it’s a plausible theory, no?

Here's some scoop on Arrow from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 2/27/15.

The Lazarus Pits definitely exist on Arrow, right? — Jackie
Do you really have to ask? “All the answers to that question have already been presented on the show,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim says. “You’ve seen everything you need to see to know where we’re headed.” Adds fellow EP Andrew Kreisberg: “Our version of Ra’s on the TV show is a lot closer to the comic books than you’ve seen in other live action adaptations.” So that’s a yes, Jackie.

BrowningAmber: Will we see much of Felicity? #Arrow
There's a huge scene coming up in this week's episode that is legitimately going to break the internet. It involves Felicity…and that's all we can say. (No, seriously, that's literally all we can say without spoiling it.)

birdsofcanary: We will see a confrontation between Laurel and Thea about Sarah?
You will indeed see a scene between these two fierce females in this week's episode, though what is discussed and both women's reactions to the conversation will not be what you're expecting. It's a fascinating scene to watch, and it left us wanting more scenes between this dynamic duo!
