Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Ghost Rider/Hyde related scoop from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

Here's some scoop on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 10/7/16.

Will Ghost Rider’s creation have any ties to Hyde on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. like there was in the comics? — Nick
While we will soon see an origin story for Ghost Rider, it will not have ties to Daisy’s agro-father. “We talked about it,” EP Jed Whedon says. “We have other plans, but the temptation was there. Because we told such a deep and rich Hyde story, we feel like we do want to bring Kyle [MacLachlan] back in a different way later on.”

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Robbie Reyes related scoop and more on season 4 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. from this week's (Posted on 8/12/16) Matt's Inside Line column.

One can’t help but remember that Hyde played a significant role in the Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider comics. Does this mean Kyle MacLachlan could potentially reappear on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Cal Zabo? — Silje
Presented with your fun fact, co-showrunner Jed Whedon… well, he did what Marvel EPs do. “We can’t say much about what we’re going to do with [Robbie Reyes’] origin, but we are doing our own spin on it,” he said. “We don’t want people who have read the comics to know exactly what’s coming.” Told that viewers surely would like to see MacLachlan back on the show, Whedon concurred, “So would we.” (Then again, someone needs to hold down the fort in Twin Peaks.)

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Skye and Cal related scoop on the second half of season 2 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. from this week's (Posted on 1/13/15) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Any scoop on Sleepy Hollow, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, SVU, NCIS, or Once Upon A Time’s Captain Swan? —Kate
Ausiello: I choose… Column B! Kyle MacLachlan tells us that even though Skye spared Cal’s life in the midseason finale — just prior to her “transformation” — “I think it’s only going to get more difficult” for daughter and father as Season 2 resumes. At least as far as he can tell. “When they hand me the scripts, I’m always pleasantly surprised by the direction they take the character in and what they’re asking me to do,” the actor says. “I like playing his scary side, and I like playing the father and man who has been through a lot.”

Desperate Housewives Brings Back Dana Delany, Kyle MacLachlan, Andrea Bowen in Season 8-TVLine

Wisteria Lane will be experiencing increased congestion this winter.

With Desperate Housewives inching closer to its series finale this May, the show is welcoming back three of its most popular graduates: Dana Delany (Katherine), Kyle MacLachlan (Orson) and Andrea Bowen (Julie).

The length and timing of the trio’s comeback stints are not known. (ABC declined to comment.)

After Housewives set its May 2012 finale date over the summer, showrunner Bob Daily made it his mission to lure back as many of the show’s alums as possible — beginning with Delany (who’s currently headlining ABC’s Body of Proof, which is nearing the end of its 13-episode second season).

“She’s working like a mad woman on Body of Proof but I would love that,” Daily said at that time. “We want this season to feel like a bookend, so we would love to bring back some familiar faces and tie up some loose ends — and God knows there are plenty of loose ends.”
