Smash: Scoop on Ivy's love life from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Smash from this week's (Posted on 3/19/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: It’s been a bad couple of weeks for Smash fans! Any spoilers to cheer me up? About Derek maybe? I’m loving his renewed friendship with Ivy this season. Will it turn romantic again? —Lila
Ausiello: Ivy will be getting a love interest soon, but showrunner Josh Safran isn’t identifying her mate. “I don’t want to spoil that, but it’s a huge portion of her story this year,” he teases. “It’s complicated and beautiful, and as is always the case with Megan Hilty, beautifully acted.”

Smash: Ellis and Ivy related scoop from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Smash from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich's weekly column Matt's Inside Line for the week of 3/15/12.

Smash | I almost hated to run this question by Megan Hilty during a recent 1-on-1, but you must admit, her answer does intrigue: Will Ellis, that stealthy tattletale, ever cross into Ivy’s orbit? “We do end up having a very interesting relationship… and it’s very unexpected,” Hilty revealed. “You won’t see it coming, but when it happens… it’s one of those moments where I audibly gasped when I read it in the script!” What do you speculate, Smash fans – what sort of alliance, if any, might they form?
