We feel you, Joe. Those 10-episode seasons just fly right by after a year of anticipation, don't they? Since we were dying for some scoop like you were, we went straight to the eldest Lannister son, Jaime, to find out how he's going to be coping with the consequences of freeing his brother Tyrion, since Tyrion ended up killing their father Tywin—while he was on the toilet, no less! Talk about a crappy situation (sorry, NOT MY BEST). "It wasn't something that his sister would want him to do and I think it's safe to say that he didn't expect in his wildest dreams that the consequences would be that his father would get killed," Nikolaj Coster-Waldau says. "I think even though his father was a very complicated man, he was still his father. Jaime loved him. So it's going to be a very complicated situation for Jaime when the show comes back." Game of Thrones, complicated? We never would have guessed!

Saturday Night Live: Scoop on the possibility of Nikolaj Coster-Waldau hosting the show from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Saturday Night Live from this week's (Posted on 6/25/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: I’m a huge Game of Thrones fan. The highlight of Saturday Night Live‘s season for me was when they did the GoT sketch and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau showed up. Any chance he’ll host in the near future? – Aaron K.
Ausiello: If he does, he won’t go in cold – the actor once hosted a similar sketch comedy show in his native Denmark – but he notes that the Studio 8H experience “was quite something to see” and that he was honored by the Westeros-themed game show skit. “The whole sketch came out of [the writers] being huge fans. They were poking fun at themselves, which was cool.” His one regret? Not surviving the sketch without cracking up at host Zach Galifianakis. “In all the three rehearsals we had before, I didn’t make it through,” Coster-Waldau says, laughing. “And I only had two lines!”
