Once Upon a Time: Belle and Rumplestiltskin related scoop and more on season 6 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from this week's (Posted on 8/31/16) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Will Once Upon a Time be giving Rumbelle fans any sweet, pregnancy moments — like discussing names, etc.? —Betsy
Ausiello: Maybe, eventually. But “the ride there is pretty bumpy,” warns series co-creator Eddy Kitsis. Adam Horowitz meanwhile promises moments of “reminiscing” for the oft-estranged marrieds, “and discussing what it’s going to mean when their child is born.”

Question: Will Once Upon a Time give us an explanation for Mr. Gold’s new haircut? —Rebecca
Ausiello: Though Robert Carlyle was able to lose the mustache he donned when filming this summer’s Trainspotting sequel, his indeed brought Begbie’s cropped ‘do back to Storybrooke. The loss of Rumple’s salt-and-pepper mane “will absolutely be addressed,” says Horowitz. “And the answer isn’t that he went to do Trainspotting 2.”

Once Upon a Time: Regina, Snow, Lacey/Belle and Rumplestiltskin related scoop from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez's The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 3/13/13.

I know we’re going to see Regina and Snow feuding more than ever now that Snow killed Cora, but are we going to get to see Regina mourn a little? -- Trish
For sure. In fact, Lana Parrilla tells me that even though we’ll see Regina having a bit of a “one track mind” when it comes to revenge, “you’re definitely going to see [her pain.] There’s a moment of grieving and mourning her mother’s passing,” she says.

Sandra, I’m SO excited about “Lacey,” I can’t even tell you. Anything more you can report about Rumbelle in this episode? -- Kelly
I’m tapped out on “Lacey” scoop -- other than the fact that Emile de Ravin promised that the gold dress does appear. But how about this bit from Robert Carlyle on the pair’s next meeting after THAT phone call: “Something that does come out of that is that the phone call he makes to her when he's dying; she thinks there must be something true there. He actually visits her in hospital and says, 'Look, I know you don't have any memory of me, but my feelings for you are true.’ And she says [that she] could tell.' So we start to go on that journey." Can’t. Wait.

Once Upon a Time: Scoop on episode 1x19 "The Return" from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich's weekly column Matt's Inside Line for the week of 3/22/12.

Once Upon a Time | Many of you have asked if and when we will see Rumpelstiltskin’s son again. Well, that moment comes in Episode 19, titled “The Return.” As Robert Carlyle told us of the late-April installment, “It goes back to the moment he became Rumplestiltskin — and [his son] can’t handle this person his father [has become]. He wants me to give up the power.” Alas, that is much easier said than done. (Or as Rumpel would say, “Things always come with a priiiice.”) “He has to be stabbed through the heart to give away that power, so that can never really happen — but something else does,” Carlyle teases with a (non-maniacal) laugh, adding his own, “Dot, dot, dot….”
