Gina: While I was beyond thrilled that USA ordered seasons five and six of Royal Pains a while ago, it makes me nervous that we might be coming up to the big finale. Please give me something to ease my fears.
If Mark Feuerstein has any sway, Royal Pains will be sticking around. "It's season six, shows are not necessarily allowed to go beyond season seven or season eight, but I want both of those because I love this show, I love the actors I get to work with. The writing is amazing, but at the very latest by season eight we may have to say goodbye to Dr. Hank Lawson," he told us. USA is introducing a whole mess of new shows, but Feuerstein said he hopes to stick around to represent the old guard. "…I'm thrilled to be that show and I hope they never get rid of us," he said.

Her name is Blythe (of course it is), and she's considered Hamptons royalty. She is influential, prestigious and pushy, and she isn't afraid to let her neighbors know that she's the queen bee. After HankMed's tends to her injury, she really takes a liking to them. And that doesn't necessarily mean good things for Evan and Hank…

The show doesn’t officially start filming their next season until March, but when I spoke to Mark Feuerstein, he was convinced we hadn’t see the last of the brother’s troubles. “That will be an issue, I think, as Evan tries to build a family/start a life with his new wife and Hank is still without any real domestic concerns,” he says. “How will that play out? I don’t know.”

For one, I can confirm that D’Orsay’s Men role — as a love interest for Walden — will in fact be a recurring one. That said, I am also assured that her Royal Pains status will remain unaffected – which is a relief, since Paige and Evan are due to tie the knot in next month’s two-hour movie.

According to TVLine's Vlada Gelman, Brooke Lyons will be guest-starring in a season 4 episode of Royal Pains. Here's an excerpt from the article, which gives some details on Lyons' role:



Lyons will play Talia Clarke, a pharmaceutical rep who’s not afraid to do some flirting if it closes a sale. That won’t save her, however, when her pitch to HankMed goes horribly wrong, leading the team to wonder if she’s sampling her own drugs.

The episode is slated to air Sept. 12.
