And he says it'll continue to be the elephant in the room. We'll take that as hope.

We might be delusional TV optimists, but keep your fingers crossed for a season-end reunion. It's bound to happen at some point, right? Right?

And how! According to Shonda, they are heading in a direction you Slexie fans will most likely get all giddy about. "[Mark and Lexie] have plenty of scenes together," the Grey's mastermind tells me. "And I think that people can honestly say that while they're not back together right now, there had been some movement in that direction. I think that that's already occurred on the show and will continue to occur." Nice!
