The Walking Dead: Scoop on the possibility of the Whisperers being introduced in the second half of season 8 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

https://pmctvline2.files.wordpress.com/2018/02/unnamed1.png
Here's some scoop on The Walking Dead from this week's (Posted on 2/20/18) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Got anything to look forward to on The Walking Dead? — Hal
Ausiello:
Yep — but maybe not imminently. When we spoke recently with showrunner Scott Gimple, we asked if, before Season 8 was through, we’d get any hints of the Whisperers, the next Big Bads after the Saviors in Robert Kirkman’s comic-book series. “I couldn’t say that,” he replied. However, the villains, who wear walker skins to blend in with the zombies, are “absolutely on the menu. I just wouldn’t necessarily say for this season or even exactly when.”

The Walking Dead: Scoop on episode 8x05 "The Big Scary U" from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

https://pmctvline2.files.wordpress.com/2017/11/gabe1.png

Here's some scoop on The Walking Dead from this week's (Posted on 11/17/17) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Got any Walking Dead tidbits? —Brody
Ausiello: Always. Remember way back in the Season 8 premiere, when Gabriel found himself holed up in Negan’s RV with the Saviors’ leader himself? Sunday’s “The Big Scary U” (AMC, 9/8) not only reveals whether the preacherman was forced to make use of his s—tin’ pants, it reveals which character ought to be slipping into their own pair next.

The Walking Dead: Scoop on episode 8x03 "Monsters" from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

http://pursuenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/The-Walking-Dead-Season-8-Poster-from-AMC-Press.jpg

Here's some scoop on The Walking Dead from this week's (Posted on 11/3/17) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Is Gabriel dead on The Walking Dead? —Jeremy
Ausiello: Although, when last we saw the preacherman, Negan was instructing him to slip into his “s—tin’ pants,” whether he’s actually used the garment for the final time remains a question mark, even after this Sunday’s “Monsters” outing. Decidedly less up in the air following the action-packed episode is the fate of at least one other character. The hour also makes clearer the battle lines that are being drawn not between the Saviors and the allied forces but between the allied forces and each other.

The Walking Dead: Scoop on the season 8 premiere (Episode 8x01 "Mercy") and scoop on when Maggie will give birth from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

http://images.amcnetworks.com/amc.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/the-walking-dead-season-8-comic-con-rick-lincoln-negan-morgan-1200x707-logo-1.jpg

Here's some scoop on The Walking Dead from this week's (Posted on 10/19/17) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Walking Dead scoop, please. —Mark
Ausiello: As the Saviors vs. Everybody Else war gets underway in Sunday’s Season 8 premiere (9/8c, AMC), someone is going to reveal a loathsome streak so wide that, I bet you anything, they’re going to steal from Negan the title of Most Hated Character on the Show. And whether you’re ‘shipping Carol and Daryl or Carol and Ezekiel, “Mercy” gives you “a moment.”

Question: Any chance we’ll get a new Glenn flashback on The Walking Dead this season? Maybe when Maggie has the baby? —Heather
Ausiello: First things first, Heather: Who says Maggie’s going to have the baby during Season 8? As showrunner Scott Gimple recently told me, “In the [comic] books, she didn’t give birth during this storyline.” (Then again, in the comic books, we didn’t meet Glenn and Maggie’s son, named Hershel for her late father, until he was about 2 years old!) However, that doesn’t mean that Steven Yeun won’t pull a Michael Cudlitz and resurrect his ill-fated character for a heretofore-unseen flashback or vision. It doesn’t mean that he will, either, Gimple hastened to add. “I can only say there’s a chance.”

The Walking Dead: Scoop on the possibility of the show addressing how Daryl is dealing with Glenn’s death in season 8 from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

https://boygeniusreport.files.wordpress.com/2016/12/the-walking-dead-season-7-episode-7-daryl.jpg?quality=98&strip=all

Here's some scoop on The Walking Dead from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 8/3/17.

Will The Walking Dead ever touch on how Daryl is dealing with Glenn’s death? — Kenida
Yes, we will see much more about the guilt that Daryl feels over Glenn’s death. “That will be a plot point for Daryl at some point in the next season,” EP Robert Kirkman says. “It’s something that will get addressed.”

Fear the Walking Dead: Scoop on episode 3x04 "100" from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

http://images.amcnetworks.com/amc.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/fear-the-walking-dead-season-3-key-art-nick-dillane-400x600.jpg

Here's some scoop on Fear the Walking Dead from this week's (Posted on 6/16/17) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Got any Fear the Walking Dead scooplets? —Brian
Ausiello: Try this on for size: Sunday’s episode of AMC’s Walking Dead spinoff (9/8c) not only traces the unsteady steps that Daniel took to Dante’s door — pausing just long enough to introduce a means of walker-dispatching that I don’t believe we’ve ever before seen — it also heavily hints at how and whether Ofelia’s “late” father will be able to coexist with the water monger’s new prisoner/adviser, Strand.

Fear the Walking Dead: Scoop on season 3 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

https://pmctvline2.files.wordpress.com/2017/05/unnamed4.jpg?w=588&h=398

Here's some scoop on Fear the Walking Dead from this week's (Posted on 5/24/17) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Whatcha hearing about Fear the Walking Dead this season? — Brett
Ausiello: What, this wasn’t enough? OK, how’s this? In some ways, Season 3, which kicks off Sunday, June 4 (9/8c, AMC), marks a reset for the Walking Dead prequel. In the two-hour premiere alone, “there are some stories we are able to wrap up,” showrunner Dave Erickson says. Such as? “There’s a character we sort of put aside for a while last season who had a huge impact on Strand. She’s going to return, and Strand will have to come to terms with that.” Which may explain why the first Season 3 photo released of Colman Domingo showed his alter ego with blood on his hands and a shell-shocked expression on his face.

The Walking Dead: Casting related scoop on season 8 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

https://images.moviepilot.com/image/upload/c_fill,h_470,q_auto:good,w_620/quvwlatrent8u7i8lmzc.jpg

Here's some scoop on The Walking Dead from this week's (Posted on 4/26/17) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: I’m having Walking Dead withdrawal already. Help! —Nick
Ausiello: Help is on the way, Nick — literally. Ahead of Season 8’s Saviors/Scavengers-vs.-Alexandria/Hilltop/Kingdom war, AMC’s monster smash is casting two new recurring good guys: Dillon, a sexy, blue-collar twentysomething whose survival skills include sarcasm, and Abbud, an innately likable Muslim American whose nerves are, let’s say, jangled, because he’s flown solo for too long in zombieland. Of the pair, the former is likelier to survive the looming conflict — not only does Dillon sound like a less jerky Spencer, but the casting notice for the roles hints that the actor chosen might get picked up for subsequent seasons.

The Walking Dead: Eugene related spoiler and scoop on the possibility of Steven Yeun (Glenn) appearing in season 8 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

https://cdn3.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/7628183/twdeugene.jpg

Here's some scoop on The Walking Dead from this week's (Posted on 4/6/17) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: I’m already having Walking Dead withdrawal. Got anything on Season 8 yet? — Bud
Ausiello: As a matter of fact, yes. Remember in the finale, when Sasha said she wasn’t giving up on Eugene, even though he’d reverted to his most spineless self? That was “a hint to what the story is,” showrunner Scott Gimple recently told TVLine. “It certainly looked like he was still a Savior. But is that going to haunt him… change him? Or is he forever Negan?” (My guess: Eugene hasn’t bitten his last dick.)
Question: Since we saw Laurie again after she died on The Walking Dead and now Abraham after he died, what do you think are the odds we’ll get to see Glenn again? — Kelly
Ausiello: Pretty good, actually. As Maggie gets closer to giving birth, it’s “certainly possible,” says EP Gimple, that Steven Yeun might reprise his role for some newly created flashbacks or a vision or something. “I’d be silly to say it isn’t.” But, if a Glenn sighting were to be tied to his baby’s arrival, you could have quite a wait ahead of you. “She might not be that close,” Gimple hastened to add. “Things have been moving pretty quickly, but not a lot of time has passed.”

The Walking Dead: Spoiler on episode 7x15 "Something They Need" from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

https://images.moviepilot.com/images/c_limit,q_auto,w_710/ng0uj6fsuqp3ncxnh18a/the-title-card-for-season-7-amc.jpg

Here's some scoop on The Walking Dead from this week's (Posted on 3/22/17) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Got any Walking Dead scooplets? — Greg
Ausiello: You know it. Season 7’s penultimate episode (airing Sunday at 9/8c) finds not one but two of our regulars with guns pointed at their heads, and features a reunion that probably won’t go down in TWD history as being as touching as, say, Daryl and Carol’s.

The Walking Dead: Scoop on Morgan keeping his "live-and-let-live" policy from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

http://cdn.inquisitr.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Morgan-King-Ezekiel-7X2.jpg

Here's some scoop on The Walking Dead from this week's (Posted on 2/28/17) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Got anything on The Walking Dead? —Sam
Ausiello: Although Morgan remains so committed to not killing that he advised Ezekiel not to involve the Kingdom in Alexandria’s looming war with the Saviors, his live-and-let-live policy is about to become even “more of a struggle for him,” showrunner Scott Gimple recently told TVLine. “He thought that he had found [in the Kingdom] a place that worked for him, where he didn’t have to worry about killing or not killing. But in this world, [that issue] always finds him.”

The Walking Dead: Scoop on Eugene going to the Sanctuary and more from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

https://cdn3.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/7628183/twdeugene.jpg

Here's some scoop on The Walking Dead from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 2/24/17.

Do you happen to know anything about The Walking Dead? — Carson
When Eugene gets to the Sanctuary, he’ll basically have the exact opposite experience that Daryl did, though that doesn’t mean he’s changing his stripes. Also: A different character from the source material will have a very similar trajectory to what we saw in comics.
