Syfy has yet to lock in a premiere date for the farewell fun, but whenever it does arrive, it sounds worth the wait. Saul Rubinek tells me fans can look forward to “a very poignant six episodes” which will, at the very least, further explore the apparent Bond between the warehouse and the Donovan family.

I have been waiting for Warehouse 13 to air the back half of season 4. Any scoop on what’s going to happen? –Brendan
I’m going to be honest: Not a fan of the midseason finale. It was clunky, and the cliffhanger was only slightly better than what turned out to be the Alphas finale. (Which isn’t saying much.) That said… the resolution to all that Artie/Chinese Orchid hullabaloo plays out satisfyingly when the Syfy series returns April 29. Among the teasers I can slide your way: Leena resurfaces in an interesting way (as do the likes of Dr. Calder and James Macpherson); you’ll see the warehouse like you have never seen it before; Saul Rubinek turns in a heartbreaking performance; Caprica’s Polly Walker makes quite an impression; and James Marsters is pretty damn terrific in the guest-starring role of an expert on somethingoranother, playing “drunk” in the first stretch of scenes and taking part in a Buffy shout-out that will have you rolling.

Here's some scoop on Warehouse 13 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich's weekly column Matt's Inside Line for the week of 6/27/12.

Warehouse 13 | Ryan raises a question via email: “I read that Syfy will only be airing 10 of the 20 episodes of Warehouse 13‘s fourth season this summer. Are they really going to wait until next summer to air the second half?” I got an answer back on this just as I was putting the Inside Line to bed, and that second wave of 10 episodes is in fact set to launch in April of 2013 — so not quite “next summer.”

Is "rejoin the team" a euphemism for resurrection? When last we saw Jinks (Aaron Ashmore), he was dead as a doornail. (Anyone who didn't cry a little has a heart colder than dearly departed Jinks himself.) Claudia (Allison Scagliotti) is not going to let a silly thing like death take away her kick-ass partner—not when supernatural artifacts have the power to bring him back, right? We're counting on seeing more of the human lie detector on Warehouse 13's fourth season, premiering July 23.
