Nashville: Scoop on Rayna's love life in season 3 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Nashville from this week's (Posted on 5/21/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: I’ll take anything you’ve got on which suitor Rayna will pick when Nashville comes back. –Christina
Ausiello: You sure you want “anything”? Because what I’ve got will raise the ire of exactly half of the show’s fans (AKA those loyal to Deacon): Newly upped series regular Will Chase tells TVLine, “My gut says that Luke and Rayna will be [together], but you never know. They have to write some more stories.”

Necessary Roughness: Casts Will Chase in Season 2-TVLine

According to TVLine's Megan Masters, Will Chase will be guest-starring in an upcoming season 2 episode of Necessary Roughness. Chase will be playing an erstwhile "rock god". Here's an excerpt from the article:

Joined by actor Josh Hamilton (The Bourne Identity, Third Watch), the two will drop by as ex-bandmates who, prior to embarking on a reunion tour, seek the help of Dr. Dani (Callie Thorne) in resolving their lingering issues. The installment will air in the second half of Season 2, which is slated to run this winter.

Chase most recently recurred on NBC’s musical hit Smash, until it was announced in May that he and three of his costars (Jaime Cepero, Raza Jaffrey and Brian D’Arcy James) would be exiting the series.

Necessary Roughness resumes with new episodes this Wednesday at 10/9c.

Smash: Fires Ellis and Dev--Season 2-TVLine

According to TVLine's Michael Slezak, Jaime Cepero (Ellis), Raza Jaffrey (Dev), Brian D’Arcy James (Frank) and Will Chase (Michael) will be leaving the cast of Smash for season 2. Here's an excerpt from the article, which gives some details on Cepero's and Jaffrey's departures from the show:

No decision has been made whether or not Ellis and Dev’s portrayers, Jaime Cepero and Raza Jaffrey, will return to wrap up their characters’ story arcs. Nevertheless, it appears the former’s days of hallway lurking, eavesdropping, and unpleasant scheming are numbered, while the latter probably won’t find forgiveness after cheating (with two different women!) on Bombshell star Karen (Katharine McPhee) — then trying to wave it all away with an engagement ring. News of Cepero and Jaffrey’s exits was first reported by EW.com.
