Here's some scoop on Witches of East End from this week's (Posted on 9/30/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Hey, I’m Kyle! Do you know if Witches of East End will get a third season? I’m just the biggest fan. This is my new Charmed! —Kyle
Ausiello: No need to introduce yourself up front, Kyle. Tacking it on at the end of your question is all that’s needed. Now, about a third season of Witches: No decision has been made. But Madchen Amick (AKA Aunt Wendy) promises that “a lot of the foes that have been haunting us and a lot of the storylines will be wrapped up [in Sunday's two-hour finale].” In regards to Wendy’s line about being willing to “risk anything” for the people she loves, Amick chooses to play coy: “Something pretty big does happen, but I can’t tell you. I might have to kill you.” (Start your prayer circle now.)

Witches of East End: Scoop on the aftermath of Penelope’s death and Freya related scoop on season 2 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Witches of East End from this week's (Posted on 6/12/14) Matt's Inside Line column.

What we are to expect from Season 2 of The Witches of East End? –Amber
If you’re at all fuzzy on the final moments of the Season 1 finale, you’re in good company. Thanks to some mystical Asgard juju, the Beauchamp ladies don’t remember anything after Penelope’s death — which is probably a good thing, especially for Freya. And speaking of Freya, don’t expect a Frillian reunion anytime soon. Dash’s brother may have survived that attack, but he’s nowhere near East End when Season 2 begins.

Witches of East End: Scoop on Killian's fate and more on season 2 from TVGuide's Natalie Abrams

Here's some scoop on Witches of East End from TVGuide's Natalie Abrams' Mega Buzz column, which was posted on 6/10/14.

Please tell me that Killian is alive on Witches of East End— Kitra
Killian's fate will be revealed quickly in Season 2 — and where he ends up is not as important as who he ends up with. But the Beauchamp clan has more important issues to deal with, including the fact that they've yet to find a cure for Joanna, who is progressively getting worse after being poisoned by Penelope. Though whatever (or whoever!) came through that door from Asgard could be Joanna's savior, Wendy believes it will be her undoing. Let the catfights begin!

(Yes, I’m talking about Ingrid.) The who, what, where and why of her encounter are all pretty mind-blowing.

Revolution: Taps Patrick Heusinger for Season 2 Arc

Patrick Heusinger Witches

According to The Hollywood Reporter's Lesley Goldberg, Patrick Heusinger has been cast in a recurring guest-star role for season 2 of Revolution. Here's an excerpt from the article, which gives some details on Heusinger's role and mentions some of his previous acting credits:

The actor will play Adam, a 30-something, physically fit handsome/roguish man who's cool, has a good sense of humor and lives life to its fullest. He joins a rapidly growing Revolution cast that recently added Rubicon's Jessica Collins.

Heusinger most recently co-starred on Fox's failed drama pilot Boomerang as the son of Felicity Huffman. His credits also include Gossip Girl, Black Swan and NBC's busted pilot Beautiful People.

The actor also appeared in Lifetime's pilot Witches of East End and recently was replaced by The Mentalist's Eric Winter.

My thoughts: In terms of Patrick Heusinger's previous acting credits, the only thing that I'm familiar with is when he guest-starred on Gossip Girl during the show's second season. I really liked him on Gossip Girl, so I'm fairly confident that I'll like him on Revolution. His character sounds very interesting, and I can't to see how the character ends up fitting into the show's second season. I'm really excited for Revolution's second season to start, and I really hope the producers announce who will be playing the President of the United States in season 2 soon. That's definitely the casting news regarding Revolution's second season that I care about the most.
