If you’re wondering how the Hart of Dixie producers are going to hide Rachel Bilson’s baby bump this season, they don’t. Instead, Dr. Zoe Hart seduces Wade in an attempt to win him back (because sex always leads to love, amirite?)—but is that how she ends up with a bun in the oven? Oh, and even though Hawaii Five-0’s Ian Anthony Dale would add some welcome diversity to BlueBell, he’s not sticking around. He’s just another one of Lemon’s fake boyfriends in an effort to snatch grandma’s funds for Fancie’s.

Ausiello: No official decision has been made about a fifth season, but I’m told producers hedged their bets and wrote a Season 4 finale that could serve as a satisfying series finale, if need be. Probably a smart move considering Dixie barely survived to see a fourth season.

Ausiello: A few weeks ago, Matt Mitovich regaled you with a little ditty about Dixie adding a character that sounded like the 2.0 version of Rachel Bilson’s Zoe. Well, allow me to welcome you to Dixie‘s upcoming O.C. reunion, bitch, because Autumn Reeser got the role! (The actress took advantage of the 60 seconds I had my guard down yesterday and broke the news herself.) ICYM MM’s Inside Line item on the character, Reeser will play Olivia, a very attractive, fashionable and quick-witted New York attorney struggling to make sense of life in BlueBell. She’s set to appear in the Season 4 finale.

The CW charmer is looking for a twentysomething actress to play “Zoe 2.0,” a very attractive, fashionable, quick-witted, New York attorney struggling to make sense of life in the quaint Alabama burg. The character’s actual name isn’t actually Zoe 2.0. That would be weird and confusing. It’s Olivia Green.

While we don't have anything specific on our favorite Hart of Dixie couple, we do have some extra juicy scoop on the upcoming season of the CW's sweet, southern charmer. Remember when the network president Mark Pedowitz told E! News, "[Creator] Leila Gerstein is planning to have a pregnancy eventually happen to the character of Zoe Hart" when asked about how Rachel Bilson's ridiculously adorable real-life pregnancy might affect the show? That may be happening sooner than you think, since the show is currently casting a female obstetrician in her 40s for episode six. She is described as "a complete professional." We're crossing our fingers for a Zade baby!
