Lone Star alum James Wolk just landed a pretty amahzing gig on Happy Endings.


TVLine has learned that the sought-after actor will appear in multiple episodes of the buzzy ABC comedy playing Max’s old new boyfriend. That’s right, he’s a guy Adam Pally’s scene-stealing character used to date and is now dating again.

The Happy Endings writers first revealed the casting via their always funny Twitter feed.

Wolk recently booked an arc the second season of Showtime’s Shameless, launching early next year.
