Just when we thought ABC's primetime super sudser Revenge couldn't get any better, comes news that one of soaps' best villains of all time is joining the cast! EW.com is reporting William Devane, aka Gregory Sumner from Knots Landing, will appear in at least two episodes of the Wednesday night serial. Devane will guest as Conrad Grayson's (Henry Czerny) father Edward.
According to the report, the venomous Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) will summon her patriarch-in-law to town to assist in her divorce battle with his estranged son. Looks like father/son dysfunction runs in the family! Would it be too much to ask that Devane's Knots wife Constance McCashin join the series as Conrad's mama?
