According to TVLine's Michael Slezak, Mark Pellegrino will be guest-starring in an upcoming season 2 episode of Person of Interest. Here's an excerpt from the article, which gives some details on Pellegrino's role:
Mark Pellegrino, who played Lost‘s mysterious island-dweller Jacob opposite Michael Emerson’s Benjamin Linus, will appear as the edgy and charming head of a popular publishing empire on Emerson’s CBS procedural.
Person of Interest executive producer Jonathan Nolan announced Pellegrino’s casting during a panel session today at New York Comic Con.

My thoughts: I have to say that I'm really excited about this news. I loved Mark Pellegrino on Lost, and he was great in the episode of Grimm that he guest-starred in earlier this season, so I'm sure he'll do a great job on Person of Interest. Plus, I think it will be really cool to see Michael Emerson and Mark Pellegrino together again. I really regret not watching Person of Interest regularly until this summer, because it's a really great show. Originally, Michael Emerson was one of the main reasons why I decided to start watching the show, that and the premise of the show simply sounded very interesting to me. However, once I started watching the show I found myself liking Jim Caviezel and his character Reese even more than I like Emerson's role, Finch. Don't get me wrong, I do love Finch, but I simply found myself loving Reese a little bit more. If anyone who's reading this isn't already watching Person of Interest, I strongly recommend that they at least check the show out.
