According to Entertainment Weekly's James Hibberd, Heather Locklear is joining the cast of the TNT series, Franklin & Bash, as a series regular for its' upcoming third season, which returns this summer. Here's an excerpt from the article, which gives some scoop on Locklear's role:
The sexy TV veteran will play Rachel King, “a stunning trial lawyer, with stiletto heels and clothes tailored within an inch of their life.” King comes on board as a new partner at Jared Franklin (Breckin Meyer) and Peter Bash’s (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) law firm, making life more interesting.

My thoughts: I just got into watching Franklin & Bash in the past year, and I have to say that I think it's a really fun and very underrated show. If anyone who happens to be reading this post hasn't watched the show before, I strongly recommend that they check out. I think it's kind of weird that James Hibberd referred to Franklin & Bash as a drama in the original article, because the show is much more comedic and lighthearted than it is dramatic, if you ask me. The lighthearted and comedic nature of Franklin & Bash is one of the things that I love the most about the show. As for the news about Heather Locklear joining the cast as a series regular, I'm really excited about that because I loved her on both the original Melrose Place and the CW network's sequel series Melrose Place. It will be very fun to see her on Franklin & Bash show when season three starts.
