Timeless: Lucy related scoop and more on season 2 from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

Here's some scoop on Timeless from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 11/2/17.

Any scoops about Timeless? — Monica
Timeless is about to go back into production, so I pressed Abigail Spencer for any scoop she could share about season 2. “It’s going to be more of what you loved about season 1 and some really cool shifts,” she says. “We’re going to go deeper into the history, and Lucy is going to have to deal with the fact that her mom is a super baddie. Lucy is really going to grow. Season 1 Lucy, things were happening to her, ‘Oh my gosh, time machines! Time travel!’ and she was trying to keep it all together. She was a very reactive and strung along character, and I think she’s going to be a more proactive character now in making things happen in season 2.”

Question: Gonna go out of left field here, but do you have any scoop on Suits? —Jenny
Ausiello: Abigail Spencer’s Scotty is back in next Wednesday’s episode as the firm looks to her to do “something to help them,” executive producer Aaron Korsh previews. “But she is a little resentful of [Mike’s] secret, so she’s not going to have the greatest response to that.” Harvey’s ex will also have what sounds like a tense exchange with Rachel. “Both of their two men are in the crosshairs here,” the EP explains. “They have an interesting, little interaction where they get to express different points of view on what the consequences of this whole thing might be.”

How long will Scotty be sticking around on Suits? I think Harvey is better off without her (and with Donna!) –Kellie

Got any Castle or Suits scoop to help me through finals? –Christina
Suits up! At the USA Network upfront event, I asked Gabriel Macht what sets the stage for the new season’s flashback episode, which dives 10 years into the past. “The DA played by Gary Cole in the first season is brought back, so we’re going to see the origin episode of why Harvey left the DA’s office,” he shared. And what surprised him most about this latest bit of time travel? “It was interesting to find out where Harvey gets the value of not sleeping with the people he works with.” On a related note, Macht says the issue of where “Scottie” (played by Abigail Spencer) lands – New York or London – “is explained in the premiere, [airing July 16], so she’s back for that episode.”
