True Blood: Sarah related scoop from TVGuide's Natalie Abrams

Here's some scoop on True Blood from TVGuide's Natalie Abrams' Mega Buzz column, which was posted on 8/5/14.

Will Sarah escape from Eric on True Blood? — Boris
Aww, did you want her to live? That's cute. She'll soon get what she deserves, but you might be surprised by how the standoff at the Light of Day camp goes down. "I see the cars pull up, and I actually end up deciding to sacrifice myself," Anna Camp says. "I believe that I am the new Messiah, and the best thing to do is to tell the truth and to go out there and just surrender." Sarah does realize there's no way in hell they'll take mercy on her, right?

True Blood: Eric and Pam related scoop on episode 7x05 "Lost Cause" and Sarah related scoop from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on True Blood from this week's (Posted on 7/1/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Alexander Skarsgard’s True Blood credits on IMDb only list Episode 2 of Season 7. Please tell me that this is a mistake and there will be more of Eric than that. —Linda
Ausiello: It’s a mistake and there will be more of Eric than that. A lot more of Eric. And if you’re a fan of Eric-Pam, then you’re going to love the July 20 episode. I’ve got two words for you, one of them is “trip” and the other is “road.”

Question: Where has Anna Camp been on True Blood this season? I need my Sarah Newlin fix! —Jason
Ausiello: My favorite vampire exterminator is back in this week’s episode. And as we told you back in February, the show will be introducing us to Sarah’s Texas socialite parents and angry, bitter, gothed-out sister at some point this season (perhaps as early as Sunday).

Here's some scoop on True Blood from this week's (Posted on 2/28/14) Matt's Inside Line column.

Any news on the new villains/Big Bad of True Blood Season 7? —Tom
Who needs a new Big Bad when you’ve still got Anna Camp’s Sarah Newlin hanging around wreaking havoc at every turn? And in the show’s seventh and final season, we’ll be introduced to the vampire exterminator’s Texas socialite parents and angry, bitter, gothed-out sister. (Fun fact: Sarah’s spot-on maiden name? Crabtree!) While mom and dad will appear in just one episode, Sarah’s sis, Amber, will be staying put for an arc — an extremely juicy, twisty, this-will-explain-a-lot-about-why-Sarah-is-the-way-she-is arc.

The Mindy Project: Scoop on the possibility of Anna Camp returning in season 2 and scoop on the season 2 premiere from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on The Mindy Project from this week's (Posted on 9/3/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Hey! Will we be seeing Anna Camp on The Mindy Project at all this season? – Billie
Ausiello: Hey! It’s not looking great for any of Mindy’s girls this season, mostly because rom-coms rely a lot heavier on the “rom” than the “com.” (After all, it’s called When Harry Met Sally, not When Sally and Marie Hang Out and Marie Has That Funny Scene With the Folded-Down Index Cards.) “There are not a lot of plans to see Mindy’s girlfriends,” says EP Jack Burditt. “But I also think we may touch upon the fact that she doesn’t spend a lot of time with her girlfriends, either.”

Question: Any Mindy Project scoop? What kind of time jump are we looking at since the last season? Thanks! -—Mary Kate
Ausiello: Not a huge one – but enough time for [Spoiler] and [Spoiler] to have moved to the [spoiler]s.

True Blood: Scoop on episode 6x05 "Fuck the Pain Away" from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on True Blood from this week's (Posted on 7/2/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: How long until Sarah reunites with Jason on True Blood?! ‘Cause I know it’s going to happen! —Terry
Ausiello: Twelve days to be exact. In the July 14 episode, Anna Camp’s much-missed Ms. Newlin “reconnects” with her ex-lover, per HBO. In that same episode, Sookie seeks Lafayette’s help in summoning her dead parents, and Eric and Tara go to desperate, drastic lengths to rescue Pam.

True Blood: Scoop on Anna Camp (Sarah Newlin)'s return in episode 6x03 "You're No Good" and more from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on True Blood from this week's (Posted on 6/25/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Two episodes into True Blood‘s new season, and there’s no sign of Anna Camp’s Sarah Newlin. What gives? —Jonathan
Ausiello:
The bitch is back this Sunday and has a “very tense” reunion with her estranged gay vampire ex Steve, teases his portrayer Michael McMillian, who says viewers “will get some insight into what happened in their marriage during Seasons 3 and 4… They have some unfinished business.” Bonus Scoop: Back on June 6, Camp tweeted from the True Blood set that she was in the midst of the “craziest day of work I’ve ever had… and I projectile vomited in Pitch Perfect.” Well, I hear things got so nuts that the actress ended up in the hospital with a bruised noggin! It was just a precaution and she’s totally fine, but still… Makes me wonder what the hell was going on.

Here's some scoop on True Blood from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich's weekly column Matt's Inside Line for the week of 5/30/13.

I’m so excited that Anna Camp is returning to True Blood. Any scoop on how Sarah is going to react to Steve coming out of the closet? Or maybe she already knew he was gay all along? –Rashad
God-loving Sarah resurfaces in this season’s third episode and wastes no time tearing into her ex — but it’s his vampiric orientation she seems to have the bigger issue with.

True Blood: Scoop on the possibility of Anna Camp returning in season 6 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on True Blood from this week's (Posted on 2/12/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Any chance Steve Newlin’s wife (played by your BFF Anna Camp) will make an appearance on True Blood this season? I kind of want to know what happened to her. —Pink
Ausiello: You and Ms. Camp both. “There’s a lot of unfinished business,” the Mindy Project/Vegas actress maintains, adding that Sarah Newlin “is probably pissed” that her husband is now an out-and-proud gay man and vampire, thus making a mockery of the Fellowship of the Sun. “She wants to come back and make her presence known.” Camp, who at this time is (sadly) not scheduled to appear in the HBO drama’s upcoming Season 6, suspects that “Sarah’s been holding down the fort at the Fellowship. Maybe she has a baby now. I wish Sarah had a baby! She’s very good with children.”

The Good Wife: Scoop on the possibility of Anna Camp returning to the show from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on The Good Wife from this week's (Posted on 1/8/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Any developments in your campaign to get Anna Camp back on The Good Wife. —Melinda
Ausiello: A major one, actually. “We have a [creative] way to make it work,” reports exec producer Robert King. “We’re just trying to see if we can make the dates work.” Complicating matters a smidge: Camp is already juggling two recurring roles (on Fox’s The Mindy Project and CBS’ Vegas) and she’s about to dive head-first into pilot season. “We love Anna,” adds fellow EP Michelle King. “So [hopefully] there’s a way to make it work.”

The Good Wife: Cary related scoop and more on season 4 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on The Good Wife from this week's (Posted on 8/7/12) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Can you tell me anything about my favorite character from The Good Wife, Cary? —Rachel P.
Ausiello: He has a line in the premiere that pretty much sums up his Season 4 predicament: “I’m always right on time for the fall of Saigon.” As exec producer Robert King explains, “Cary is someone who is trying to deal with a law firm that is now on the edge. No matter where he goes he seems to be in a place that is on the verge of falling apart. And what he realizes is he wants to not be the yuppy fighter he was before. He wants to have a calm spirit to him. The difficulty is we’re going to see some family of his coming into the picture, and that is going to complicate things for him.”

Question: I know she’s on The Mindy Project now, but any chance Anna Camp will return to The Good Wife? She went away too soon! —Gerald
Ausiello: Camp says she’d return “in a heartbeat,” adding that she too was “bummed” her arc ended so abruptly last season. “What happened was I got a movie I had to go shoot,” she explains. “I don’t know if [Caitlin leaving to be a stay-at-home mom-to-be] was their original direction, but I was like, ‘Oh my gosh! I thought I was going to flirt with Josh Charles?!’”
