Ausiello: Eenie, meenie, miney… Ben and Kate! Kate’s romance with her new musician beau Will (played by Geoff Stults) will hit a sour note when he invites her (and Ben, natch) to watch him perform. “They tell him that the band is awesome, and then the second that he walks away they say, ‘Oh my god, this is the worst thing ever,’” Stults previews with a laugh. “Let’s just say that I have one of the most ridiculous guitar-playing face and it causes a little bit of a problem in our relationship.”

Agreed, and we do! The Fox comedy's 10th episode is entitled the "B-Squad" and finds the siblings dealing with what it means to not quite make the A-list. Eternal dreamer Ben is confronted with the life he might've had when he runs into a former pal who's now filthy rich, thanks to an idea Ben sold him for basically nothing. Meanwhile, Kate doesn't take it well when Maddie fails to make the cut for her school's gifted program—and retaliates by taking her daughter and some of her classmates for a field trip to the local planetarium which, naturally, goes horribly, hilariously wrong.

Jennifer in Denver: The Ben and Kate premiere was hilarious! Is it true that the very hot Geoff Stults will soon be guest starring? 
It is indeed! The Finder alum is joining Fox's promising new comedy in a recurring role as a single dad who becomes a love interest for single-mom Kate. But not everybody will be thrilled for the new couple, according to Nat Faxon, who plays Kate's bro, Ben. "He's a protective older brother," Faxon explains. "Ben wants what any brother would, which is to make sure that his sister is in good hands and that the guy's not gonna screw her over. [So] he's making sure the guy checks out. I appreciate that because it feels very true, very real." Look for Stults to make his first appearance in Ben and Kate's Halloween episode, which airs Oct. 30.
