Here's some scoop on Elementary from this week's (Posted on 10/26/17) Matt's Inside Line column.

Anything new from Elementary or Timeless? —TVLover
I choose… Door No. 1! Early on in Season 6, “Joan will lose someone who was very close to her once upon a time,” exec producer Rob Doherty previews, “and she will learn that this person made certain assessments regarding the decisions Joan has made as a professional. It’s going to give her cause to look at choices she’s made and choices that she has right in front of her: Might she be a more complete person if she weren’t in a partnership with Sherlock Holmes?”

Elementary: Sherlock related scoop and scoop on Desmond Harrington's role in season 6 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

https://pmctvline2.files.wordpress.com/2017/07/desmond-harrington.jpg?w=618&h=423&crop=1

Here's some scoop on Elementary from this week's (Posted on 9/13/17) Matt's Inside Line column.

In light of Elementary adding a new male character, should we be worried about Sherlock’s fate post-brain tumor diagnosis? —Mel
You’re assuming the P.I. definitely has a brain tumor. “I’m not telling!” executive producer Rob Doherty laughs before adding, “Suffice to say, Sherlock will have a lot more on his plate. Working as a detective is about to become a lot more complicated for him, and life in general, the brownstone, will become more complicated for him and Joan.” As for Desmond Harrington’s Michael, “At least in the early goings, he’ll be something of a friendly ear for Sherlock, who will be going through a lot. Michael is somebody who’s in recovery and someone who wants to be helpful. But as is so often the case, the deeper we get into the season, we’ll see there’s a bit more going on with Michael than meets the eye.”

Elementary: Scoop on the possibility of the show getting a full-season order for season 6 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

https://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/bakerstreet/images/2/22/TitleCard.png/revision/latest?cb=20130213144045

Here's some scoop on Elementary from this week's (Posted on 8/23/17) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Did Elementary get a full-season order for Season 6? —Cobra
Ausiello: With CBS holding the Sherlock procedural until midseason, the network has thus far only commissioned 13 episodes. But that number could increase, especially if one of the Eye net’s new dramas flop. “There’s always a chance we could [return] earlier,” confirms EP Rob Doherty. “If we were, it stands to reason there might be additional episodes ordered. We are in ‘wait and see’ mode at the moment.” An added complication: This “could be our last season,” Doherty notes. “We’re not sure yet. We want to do everything we can do to keep it from being the last season. But we’ll see where we are in a few months.”

Elementary: Scoop on the possibility of Natalie Dormer (Moriarty) appearing on the show in season 6 from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

https://pmctvline2.files.wordpress.com/2017/08/elementary-jonny-lee-miller-natalie-dormer-sherlock-irene-cbs.jpg

Here's some scoop on Elementary from this week's (Posted on 8/2/17) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: I know Elementary isn’t coming back until midseason, but I need to know this now: Is it possible Natalie Dormer will be back as Moriarty one last time? —Giovanni
Ausiello: It’s more than possible. “With respect to Sherlock, we’re working hard to see an old flame come back to the show,” executive producer Rob Doherty teased to TVLine at CBS’ summer press soiree, before all but confirming that the mystery ex is indeed Dormer’s Moriarty (who last appeared in the flesh in Season 2). “She may or may not lead a league of assassins — or once led a league of assassins.”

Here's some scoop on Elementary from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 6/23/17.

How will Joan crossing over to the dark side come back to haunt her next season on Elementary? — Kelly
She may come to regret making a deal with the devil. “On paper, it would appear Joan’s business with Julio ‘Halcon’ Zelaya is concluded,” EP Rob Doherty says. “He gave her evidence that she was able to use to bring his sister’s killer to justice, but Halcon may not see it the way Joan sees it. He may think she owes him a favor, not the other way around. Gang leaders are funny that way.”

Will Sherlock tell Joan about his condition on Elementary? — Pascal

Elementary: Scoop on how Sherlock’s prognosis will affect him in season 6 from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

http://cartermatt.bgmyzuarasgpknxgxbrs.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/elementary-10.jpeg

Here's some scoop on Elementary from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 6/9/17.

How will Sherlock’s prognosis affect him next season on Elementary? — Sequa
It won’t be easy for Sherlock on many fronts. “It’s going to create some problems, both personal and professional,” EP Rob Doherty says. “For starters, Sherlock made a mistake when he decided to keep his condition from Joan. He’ll have a lot to explain and a lot to make up for. He’ll also find his sobriety regimen ‘competing’ with a regimen designed to address his prognosis. There will be times he’ll question whether he can tackle one problem without succumbing to the other. And, of course, there will be an impact on his work. Sherlock is accustomed to being the finest detective in New York, if not on the planet. But the work won’t come as easily to him when the new season begins. At least not at first. In the meantime, he’ll to have to commit himself to his health and to his partnership in ways that will be very challenging to him.”

Elementary: Scoop on the possibility of Sherlock and Joan investigating who killed Shinwell from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

http://cartermatt.bgmyzuarasgpknxgxbrs.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/elementary-10.jpeg

Here's some scoop on Elementary from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 5/12/17.

Will Sherlock and Joan investigate who killed Shinwell on Elementary? — Diane
Joan certainly will, but it remains to be seen whether Sherlock can truly forgive and forget after Shinwell assaulted him before his untimely death. “Sherlock takes no pleasure in the news that Shinwell has been killed, but as we’ll see in these last two episodes, his own plate is very full,” EP Rob Doherty says. “He’s very distracted with some things that have been going on for him personally, so it’s difficult for him to commit to this case to the degree that Joan might want him to. It’s not going to go unnoticed by Joan, who is going to take some offense with respect to his commitment to solving Shinwell’s murder.”

Elementary: Guest-star related scoop on episode 5x23 "Scrambled" from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

http://www4.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Joanna+Christie+jzedHUOw1d5m.jpg

Here's some scoop on Elementary from this week's (Posted on 5/9/17) Matt's Inside Line column.

Any scoop regarding Elementary? — Jordan
Trying to take down SBK isn’t the only thing on Sherlock’s mind. This Sunday’s episode also introduces Joanna Christie (Narcos) as “a woman who, once upon a time, meant a great deal” to the P.I., executive producer Rob Doherty shares. In fact, the mystery lady is so significant that “her resurfacing is going to disorient” Sherlock during the investigation.

Elementary: Sherlock related guest-star scoop from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

http://www2.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Joanna+Christie+Weinstein+Company+Netflix+Q9jrHaFflKjl.jpg

Here's some scoop on Elementary from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 5/5/17.

Do you have any scoop on the person from Sherlock’s past appearing on Elementary? — Sandra
The mystery woman will be played by Narcos star Joanna Christie. “We’re going to meet a woman from Sherlock’s past, someone we meet over the course of a support group meeting,” EP Rob Doherty says. “It’s someone who Sherlock will know, but the audience won’t. We’ll use these two episodes to tell a story of who she is and why she’s significant to him. It’s difficult to say exactly what kind of a relationship she has with Sherlock. Is there or was there a romantic involvement? She and Sherlock have some overlapping damage. There’s also something that will seem potentially malevolent. What interested me most about introducing this woman is that she’s someone that I think our audience probably assumed they would never get to see.”

Elementary: Marcus related scoop on episode 5x21 "Flying into a Rage, Make a Bad Landing" from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Elementary from this week's (Posted on 4/26/17) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: You’ll probably skip past this question because you never really talk about this show, but got an Elementary scoop? —Doug
Ausiello: Skip past? Pshaw. More like run toward. This Sunday’s episode promises to be a big one for Jon Michael Hill’s Detective Marcus Bell, whose girlfriend has been physically assaulted and remains unconscious. “Of course, all eyes are on her ex-husband Roy,” previews executive producer Rob Doherty. “And Marcus is understandably upset and angry and wants to be part of the investigation.” However, “an emotional cop tends to make mistakes,” the EP notes, so “while the police are conducting the official investigation, Sherlock enlists Marcus into a separate and perhaps more compelling investigation into Roy.”

When are we going to get more info about Shinwell on Elementary? — Railly
Over the course of the season up to this point, Sherlock and Joan have really taken Shinwell in as part of their little family, and each stuck their necks out to help him. But a major revelation about Shinwell’s past is soon going to come to light, which will throw Sherlock and Joan for a loop, forcing them to question their attitudes toward him — and potentially create a lot of conflict between them going forward.

http://cartermatt.bgmyzuarasgpknxgxbrs.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/elementary-10.jpeg?x94793

Here's some scoop on Elementary from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 10/28/16.

It has been a while since you had any Elementary scoop. What gives? — Dina
I was just waiting to share some info on the 100th episode, which finds Sherlock and Watson with differing opinions on how to handle a possible commendation. It turns out, Sherlock has a very specific reason behind why he doesn’t like the idea of receiving credit, and it leads to a rare moment of vulnerability between the partners.
