Marvel's Inhumans: Dr. Evan Declan related spoiler and more from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

Here's some scoop on Marvel's Inhumans from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 8/31/17.

Can you tease anything about Inhumans? — Jacob
While the show kicks off on the moon-based city of Attilan, it won’t be long before the Royal Family is thrust to Earth — and they each have very different reactions to their new predicament. “Some are scared, some are curious, some are better prepared for it than others, but they each have their own unique adventure on Earth because it all affects them in different ways,” showrunner Scott Buck says. “They all come into contact with different people, who shape their experiences in different ways.” Pro tip: You should probably be worried if any of them come into contact with Henry Ian Cusick’s Dr. Evan Declan. “[He’s] an independent researcher who has been testing Inhumans on Earth,” Buck teases.

The Mentalist: Lisbon related scoop and scoop on Henry Ian Cusick's role from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on The Mentalist from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich's weekly column Matt's Inside Line for the week of 11/30/12.

The Mentalist | Dipping into the reader mailbag, Charlie asked for “something about Henry Ian Cusick’s character on The Mentalist. His first appearance was fantastic, and he has been so evil!” Not surprisingly, series boss Bruno Heller shares your enthusiasm for Lisbon’s own Red John. “It’s fun to take Lisbon down a path that Jane knows so well,” Heller shares with us. “She’s usually the voice of reason, keeping Jane in check when his Red John obsession goes too far, but in this case Lisbon is the one with the obsession. She feels responsible for the death of a woman that Volker killed and she’s determined to bring him down.” As for giving Cusick the choice role, Heller says the Lost alum has been “a revelation as Volker. He plays a titan of industry, a powerful figure who fancies himself untouchable due to his wealth and connections. Cusick has found a nice balance with the character, playing both the charm and the darkness underneath.”

Scandal: Season 2--Henry Ian Cusick Not Returning, Joshua Malina Promoted to Regular-TVLine

According to TVLine's Vlada Gelman, Henry Ian Cusick won't be returning for season 2 of Scandal, while Joshua Malina (U.S. Attorney David Rosen) who was a recurring guest-star throughout season 1 has been promoted to series regular. Here's an excerpt from the article, which gives an explanation for Cusick's departure from the show:

The decision was reached mutually by the actor, who played Olivia’s womanizing right-hand man, and executive producer Shonda Rhimes; the two are said to have parted ways on amicable terms.

My thoughts: I've only seen two episodes of Scandal at this point, so I don't really have any thoughts on Joshua Malina being made a series regular. I'm definitely a little disappointed that Henry Ian Cusick won't be returning for season two though. I never really liked him all that much on Lost, but I really liked him on Scandal.

Scandal: Scoop from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on Scandal from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat Daily for Friday 3/23/12.

Reneehere: Gotta tell me about Shonda Rhimes' Scandal. It's got Desmond! Is it any good?
Henry Ian Cusick
shall forever by my Constant. And yes, I've seen the first four episodes of Scandal and am totally obsessed! It gets crazy good after the first episode, so you do need to stick around past the premiere (April 5). As Shonda herself points out, the series is also not really very much like Grey's Anatomy or Private Practice but rather "a totally different animal. It's part of my evolution as a writer, hopefully. You just change as a writer as time goes on. It's very juicy. I hope that audiences think so, too." By the way, I'll be hosting a "Shondaland" event at the TV Academy soon, so make sure you fire away your burning Q's for Grey's, Private Practice and Scandal peeps to @kristindsantos (Twitter) or tvdiva@eonline.com (email).

Fringe: Scoop on episode 4x19 and more from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Fringe from this week's (Posted on 3/20/12) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Anything on Fringe? —Jeremy
Ausiello: Just a coy answer from exec producer Jeff Pinkner when we asked him about the casting of Henry Ian Cusick and Georgina Haig as FBI agents — the latter of which has been ID’d in some pap pics as Young Olivia (!). “We were unbelievably fortunate to have them… and they really enjoyed being part of the show,” he says. “But to tell you anything more than that would really be a betrayal to the surprise of seeing the episode.” And as fellow EP J.H. Wyman reminds, the duo appear in this season’s 19th episode, which traditionally deviates from the norm (see 2010′s musical “Brown Betty” or last year’s animated entry), “So half the fun is waiting.” Also factor in this: Joshua Jackson, when asked if he has scenes with Cusick and/or Haig, said, “I do not. For reasons I can’t tell you, I do not.” Pinkner also says that the lingering (frustrating?) question of when or whether Peter will return to his timeline will “very soon” become moot.

Fringe: Casts Henry Ian Cusick-- Season 4-TVLine

According to TVLine's Michael Ausiello, Henry Ian Cusick will be guest starring in episode 19 this season as an FBI agent who's assigned to work on a Fringe case. Here's some more details regarding Cusick's role:

It’s unclear if this is the same role we told you about earlier this week, that of an “Alternate Universe Agent” that possesses strength and confidence as well as strong comic timing. Safe to say it is (except, as we know, the FBI doesn’t exist “over there.” Or at least it didn’t before Peter vanished. OK, now we’re all confused.)

My thoughts: I'm not exactly sure how I feel about Henry Ian Cusick being on Fringe. I know that Desmond was a very popular character with a lot of fans of Lost, but I personally have never never been all that crazy about the character Desmond or Henry Ian Cusick as an actor either. I don't hate him either though, I just don't love him as an actor.
