Covert Affairs: Scoop on season 5 from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on Covert Affairs from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 6/3/14.

Vance: Covert Affairs doesn't get enough love. I can't believe more people aren't talking about it after the big season it came off of.
People are talking, maybe you need new friends? One person who is for sure talking about it is Hill Harper who is both a fan and a cast member. And some lines are going to get blurred. "The show's really evolved, I think. I just joined it last year, but I watched all the seasons leading up. It used to be about [Annie] being new, her in the CIA, using her charm to figure it out and all that stuff," he told us. "Now it's changed to something else…I'm her boss, we don't necessarily get along. I have a kind of hardline approach to it. My character thinks there are bad people in the world and there are good people in the world and you should eliminate the bad. Her character thinks you can turn bad people good. It's an inherent conflict. I'm excited about the show. It's getting deeper and deeper."

Covert Affairs: Annie, Auggie, Joan and Arthur related scoop on the season 4 premiere from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Covert Affairs from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich's weekly column Matt's Inside Line for the week of 6/13/13.

How is the Covert Affairs premiere?! Can you give us any scoop on it, pretty please? — Rachael
As Christopher Gorham previously shared, Auggie and Annie are very much a couple now — as the opening sequence makes “nakedly” clear. (Fact: I swore off carbs for the summer after those scenes.) Likewise, when Kari Matchett told me there are “interesting things” on tap for Joan and Arthur, my lord, she was not kidding. All told, while I didn’t 100 percent follow the case at hand — Annie and Auggie “vacation” in Colombia to covertly dig into Arthur’s past while dodging the local CIA station chief (played by new series regular/CSI: NY alum Hill Harper) — the episode is chock-a-block with exposed secrets (one of which I did not see coming at all) and a final scene that promises to shake up the pecking order.
