Fifty Shades Darker: Official Trailer #2 (HD)

Here's the second official trailer for Fifty Shades Darker. I know that the Fifty Shades trilogy is supposed to be a romantic series, but there are moments in this trailer where I honestly think that this movie looks like more of a horror movie than a love story. Regardless, I have to admit that I'm really looking forward to seeing Fifty Shades Darker. :)

It’s been quite a while since I posted my thoughts post on the first chapter of Fifty Shades of Grey, so I decided that it was time to do a post on chapter two. As weird as it may sound, I’m actually doing my commentary on chapter two as a part of my preparation for reading and reviewing the first book in Sylvia Day’s book series Crossfire, which in case some of the people reading this are unaware is called Bared to You. Since I’ve heard a lot of people compare the Fifty Shades trilogy to the Crossfire series, I thought it might be a good idea to read and comment on at least one more chapter of Fifty Shades of Grey before I read Bared to You; that being said, here are my thoughts on chapter two.

I’d like to start out by mentioning that reading this chapter in order to review it was a part of my third or fourth attempt at reading the first three chapters of the book. For the most part, my having to start reading the book all over again several times isn’t necessarily a reflection on the book itself. However, I do maintain my opinion that this is a pretty terrible book. I started reading this book the first time back in June I believe, and I was originally going to comment on more than one chapter at a time. Once I actually got started reading the book, I realized how horrible it was and quickly decided that commenting on more than one chapter of the book at a time would probably result in my posts being the longest piece of writing in the history of the written language. Just reading and commenting on one chapter of the book at a time leaves me with a great deal of things to talk and rant about. Unfortunately, I ended up having a lot of health problem starting at the beginning of July that I was dealing with all the way until around the middle of September, which didn’t leave me with enough time where I would be able to read the book and write posts on it since I was constantly surrounded by doctors, nurse, family, friends, etc. during that time. Once I got to a point where I had time to read any books and review them, I got really into reading Emma Chase’s book series Tangled and wanted to start reviewing those books, which are MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better than the Fifty Shades trilogy. Long story short, here I am again, finally commenting on chapter two of Fifty Shades of Grey.

Another reason why it has taken me so long to read and comment on this chapter, and this reason is definitely reflection upon the book is the fact that it’s fourteen pages long. Ordinarily, I wouldn’t consider having a chapter of a book being fourteen pages long to be all that long of a chapter. However, when it comes to this particular chapter, it seemed like the chapter was a lot longer than that as I was reading it though. There were times during my earlier attempts to read this book where I got so bored reading this chapter that I literally fell asleep reading it. I would say that it was mostly due to the fact that for most of the chapter I felt like I was reading a written summary of Ana’s daily life, which seems to focus mainly on her mentally dwelling on how embarrassed she felt about interviewing Christian and thinking bitchy thoughts about Kate as she tried to go about her usual routine of going to work at Clayton’s Hardware Store, working on her schoolwork, and hanging out with Kate and another friend of hers, José.

You must be talking about the one and only hipster Sheriff Graham, aka Jamie Dornan. He is set to return in an upcoming flashback episode, and most of his scenes will be with Lana Parrilla. "You'll see the charming, handsome Jamie Dorman and I think there's a cute flirtation between them," she tells us. "Regina is excited to have him back in her life." Then why did you kill him, huh?! Sorry, we flew off the handle. Having a tough time letting that death go.

Ausiello: Yes, as previously reported, Eion Bailey will resurface later this season as August — as will Jamie Dornan as Sheriff Graham/The Huntsman! — but Emma will only reunite with one the fellas. “I don’t have scenes with Jamie, unfortunately,” Jennifer Morrison shares with us, “but I do have scenes with Eion.” Bonus Scoop: Though Matt Mitovich teased in the new Spoiler Alert! that there would be one death in this Sunday’s episode, technically there are two — one in each realm.

"Thrilled to be able to confirm that we have Jamie Dornan returning to appear again in an ep of Once Upon a Time," cocreator Adam Horowitz tweeted of our Hot Hipster Sheriff (Still missin' you every day, boo!). "So excited." We can also tell you that Dornan was recently spotted filming with Lana Parrilla (aka Regina) in Sheriff Graham gear, not Huntsman gear. (Oh, how we missed that vest!)

Once Upon A Time: Jamie Dornan to Return-TVLine

According to TVLine's Vlada Gelman, Jamie Dornan (Huntsman/Sheriff Graham Humbert) will be returning later this season. Here's an excerpt from the article:

Dornan’s non-fairytale character Sheriff Graham was killed off in Season 1, but the Huntsman (as the show’s creators have repeatedly reminded us) could still appear in flashbacks. However, the actor recently was spotted on set wearing his Storybrooke clothes.

Dornan last appeared as the Huntsman and was instrumental in helping Charming escape from imprisonment in the Evil Queen’s castle.

 My thoughts: I have to say that I'm beyond thrilled that Jamie Dornan will be returning to the show once again. I still think that the producers made a huge mistake when they killed off Sheriff Graham so early in the show's run. Personally, if they really wanted to kill Sheriff Graham off the show, I think they should have waited until the end of the first season to do that. I also think it was a big mistake to write Pinocchio/August W. Booth off the show so soon after Eion Bailey joined the cast.

Considering the fact that Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz used to write for Lost, I just think they should have learned a thing or two about how to balance the amount of screen time each of the characters get since this is an ensemble show and how to do a good job of allowing the viewers to have enough time to become emotionally attached to the characters before they write them off the show so their death or departure from the show can have a real impact on the viewers. Those are two things about the show that they haven't done a very good job of at this point, if you ask me. That being said, I'm really excited that Jamie Dornan is returning to the show again, and I can't wait to see what brings him back this time.

Question: The lack of Once Upon a Time news regarding August W. Booth/Pinocchio and his current state/possible reunion with his dad is getting on my nerves. Please tell me you have a scoop about him? —Angelique
Ausiello: The best answer series cocreator Eddy Kitsis will part with, regarding August being seen again this season, is: “Perhaps.” He goes on to add, ”We are hoping to have him back. August is an important part of the fabric of the story, and it’s a story that we are continuing to tell.” In the meantime, though, Kitsis confirms that “you will get the answer” to what it was that August showed Neal Cassidy to convince him of Emma’s fantastical backstory.

Question: I have a question about Once Upon a Time: Are there any chances to get the Huntsman/Jamie Dornan back? I miss him so much!!!
Ausiello: As has often been the series creators’ refrain, you will maybe someday see Dornan again in a flashback, but never in Storybrooke. “[Sheriff] Graham is dead,” asserts Kitsis, “and if we brought him back, everyone would say we were messing with continuity. We don’t want to do that.” Kitsis notes that last season revealed one love of Emma’s life — son Henry — while this cycle introduced us to another, Neal Cassidy, who likely will resurface during February sweeps. As for a certain pushy pirate? “Hook is obviously eye-candy,” Kitsis allows. “I don’t know if Emma would stare at him and think he’d be a great father to Henry, but he might be fun in Vegas!”

Ausiello: The odds would seem to favor Jamie Dornan returning as the Huntsman and not Graham since the former is alive and the latter is not. But considering what OUAT co-creator Eddy Kitsis just told TVLine’s Matt Mitovich, I’m not so sure that’s the case. Asked about the circumstances surrounding Dornan’s comeback, Kitsis teased, “I can say that it is one my favorite reveals of the entire year, and to spoil it would be so heartbreaking.” And how important was it to have Dornan back as… whomever? Says Kitsis, “We moved heaven and earth to get that man from London. Or, we put him on a plane.”

Once Upon a Time: Season 1 Episode 14 Preview Eddie Kitsis & Adam Horowitz-TVLine

Here's an interview that TVLine's Vlada Gelman did with the executive producers and co-showrunners Eddie Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, which gives a preview of this Sunday's episode, which features Amy Acker as a fairy named Nova, Grumpy's girlfriend. The episode explores the backstory of Snow White's elf, Grumpy. Gelman also mentions that Emilie de Ravin will be making another appearance as Belle in this Sunday's episode, and she will share a scene with Grumpy. Here's an excerpt from the article, which gives some scoop on various other mysteries on the show:


WHO IS THE STRANGER? AND WHAT HE’S DOING WITH THE BOOK? | Not surprisingly, the answers to these two questions are deeply interconnected. When the consequences of August’s tampering with the book (and him getting it back to Henry) are revealed in a later episode, “it will inform who [he] is,” teases Kitsis. “Those pages are his story, you’d say.” Adds Horowitz: “What we saw August doing in that episode … is the first step in peeling back the onion on who this guy is and what his agenda in Storybrooke is. August’s goal is a very specific goal.” But if you think the handsome mystery man is the author of said book, you might want to guess again. “Who wrote it… will probably be something more for Season 2,” reveals Kitsis.

WILL MARY MARGARET AND DAVID EVER GET TOGETHER? | The Evil Queen’s curse that is keeping them apart, one way or another, is no easy-to-break spell, and as such it will “definitely test them,” says Kitsis. And Kathryn’s vanishing, an arc that will run through several episodes, will only add complications. Horowitz, however, promises that the writers are “building to something this season with [Mary and David] that we’re excited to share with you.”

WHO’S COMING BACK? | All you Sheriff Graham lovers, brace yourselves: A possible encore by Jamie Dornan is up in the air. The producers would absolutely like to have the actor back, but “it is a scheduling thing that is beyond our control,” Kitsis explains. “Right now, we are trying to move Heaven and Earth to hopefully make it happen.” One return TVLine previously scooped is David Anders as Dr. Whale, on March 11. However, “the reveal of who he is [in fairytale land] will not be this season.”

WHO IS HENRY’S FATHER? | That’s another question that won’t be answered until “further down the line” even though the EPs know who he is and “have a very specific plan for that character.” Could he be someone we’ve already seen on the show? While they wouldn’t they wouldn’t confirm or deny the speculation, Horowitz did offer this: “If we do it right, it’s an a-ha moment.”

WHAT IS THE EVIL QUEEN’S BEEF WITH SNOW? | “She just owes her money,” jokes Kitsis. But in all seriousness, keep an eye out for Episode 18, to air in April, because that’s when “you’ll find out why the Evil Queen hates Snow White so much.”

It's always hard to say goodbye to a TV character that we just fell in love with, especially when there was so much potential. Is this really the end? Did they find another TV viewer prettier than us? Do you think that character is thinking of us right now?

Alas, Once Upon a Time killed off a beloved character last night, and we gotta say…it was heartbreaking. Get it? Anyway, we've got something to help with the pain: an exclusive interview with the man behind the dearly departed character, so head on in to hear his thoughts on being the first big death on OUAT. RIP Sheriff Graham (Jamie Dornan), 2011-2011

Can we start this off with a moment of silence for the hottest TV sheriff who has ever sheriffed? Yes, we're talking about Once Upon a Time's Sheriff Graham, who became Regina's (Lana Parrilla) first casualty in Storybrooke (that we know of). While some fans predicted Graham would be the show's first big death, it was still heartbreaking to see the well-vested law enforcement hottie die from a broken heart...literally.

So was last night's doozy of an episode, arguably the series' best thus far, the last we've seen of Dornan on OUAT? Read our exclusive interview with Dornan, where he talks about his exit from the show and his concerns about taking on the role of the Hunstman, Graham's fairy-tale counterpart...

We have to tell you, we're pretty upset Sheriff Graham the show killed off one of our favorite characters. Did you know when you signed on to the series that he would be the first death?
I did know. I knew when we started shooting for real. It makes it a quite odd experience because, obviously, I do feel a part of that family. I've been there since day one; the pilot and then the whole waiting for the series to get picked up. All through that, I didn't know at that stage, to be honest. Yeah, it came as a bit of a shock to me at the start, but then we still had all these episodes to shoot, so I definitely still wanted to be involved in the show.

Was it weird going into the process knowing that you'd eventually be leaving?
It was a strange thing because I've seriously bonded with these people. We're all stuck together for four months and you make proper friendships. The weird thing always weighing in the back of my mind was the episode was getting closer and closer. You start trying to adjust accordingly. I'm not sure if this will be the last you'll ever see of my face on the show, but it's certainly the last you'll see of Sheriff Graham.

So they've talked to you about possibly returning to the show as the Huntsman in the fairy-tale world?
Yeah, that's been discussed definitely. I mean, my fairy-tale character doesn't die, so there's always that option. There's so much that can happen.

We know you're on Twitter—was it hard for you to keep Graham's death a secret after you wrapped?
Well, that's the danger of Twitter, when Ginny [Goodwin], Jen Morrison, Josh Dallas are tweeting, like, "At a bar in Vancouver!" I thought about stockpiling a lot of pictures of all of us and then using them accordingly, like over the next two months, like, "Hey, here we are in Vancouver!" I'm just quieter on Twitter because people aren't that stupid, you know? They start to work out that there hasn't been a lot of chat about you. I haven't been in places where I need to keep it a big secret, like in London no one has a clue anyway. And with all my friends, because I'm back early, like five years early, they have an idea. [Laughs.]

Your fairy-tale counterpart was the source of a lot of speculation for fans of the show. Did you know from the beginning that you were the Huntsman or did you find out when you got the script for episode seven?
I did know. Originally I was meant to be someone else, but that didn't end up happening because of rights or something like that. But I knew pretty early on. Not the very beginning, but pretty early on I got the idea from production. And the sooner you know the better because then you can start trying to somewhat play that into what you're doing with your Storybrooke character. I mean, [the Huntsman] is a cool role to play. My only thing is that Chris Hemsworth is playing the Huntsman [in Snow White and the Huntsman] and he looks like a proper man. I look like, you know, a woman in drag.

Hey, you have the scruff. That's important, too.

[Laughs.] Yes, I have the scruff, but he has the testosterone and the general man-dom. I was watching a lot of pictures with him and his shirt off and with him holding his axe and I'm just a little bit concerned that I'm pathetic in comparison. But that's fine. That's something I have to deal with personally. 

You don't give yourself enough credit! Backtracking a bit, are you allowed to say who Graham's fairy-tale counterpart was originally supposed to be?
I don't know if I am, to be honest. He was pretty impressive, a guy that we all know who's been adapted many times before in film and television.

We're going with Robin Hood.
You're probably right!

While we're not happy that he's gone, Graham's death was pretty cool. Regina squeezing his heart to death was awesome.
It's pretty gruesome, but you know, it's a little bit cool. Not many people get to die like that. It's a bit cooler than getting shot in the arse or something. So as TV deaths go, I was pretty happy.
