Once Upon a Time: Scoop on episode 7x04 "Beauty" and scoop on the possibility of Emilie de Ravin appearing in more season 7 episodes from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

https://pmctvline2.files.wordpress.com/2017/05/once-s6-fin-rumbelle-baby.jpg

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from this week's (Posted on 10/19/17) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Based on what the Once Upon a Time creators said about not ruining happy endings, might it be possible for Emilie de Ravin to appear later on in Season 6? —Betsy
Ausiello: There are no plans to have Belle’s portrayer back following her Friday, Oct. 27 encore, “but that’s not to say that we won’t,” says Eddy Kitsis, noting: “We’re only halfway through [writing] the season.” Instead, find solace in the fact that Episode 4, titled “Beauty,” is being buzzed about as one of the fantasy drama’s very best hours, detailing as it does what happened to Rumple, Belle and their son after getting their happy ending in the May finale. But, how does Giles Matthey figure into it, as grown Gideon? “We don’t want to give away what’s happening in the plot,” says co-creator Adam Horowitz, “but you’ll get a deep dive into the Rumbelle life and what they’re doing with their child.”

Once Upon a Time: Alice related scoop on episode 7x04 "Beauty" from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 10/19/17.

What more can be teased about Alice on Once Upon a Time and her connection to Rumple that will be seen in episode 704? — AshMarie
Alice, who has been helping both Weaver in Hyperion Heights and Rumple in the Enchanted Forest, will play a big role in the Rumple-centric hour, which features the return of Emilie de Ravin. “Alice has close relationships with Gold and Hook,” Rose Reynolds notes. “She’s being asked a lot of. Let’s just say she’s tested quite a lot in episode 4 with friendships and good versus evil, which is that whole pendulum swing of it. ‘Is it bad to do this? You told me to do this,’ and all of that stuff. There’s a lot of inner conflict for Alice in episode 4. It’s an insane episode and it’s one of the best-written things I’ve read in a long time, so I’m really excited for everybody to see it.”

Once Upon a Time: Scoop on the possibility of the season 7 premiere explaining the absences of departed cast members from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/b0/Once_Upon_a_Time_title_card.jpg

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams' The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 6/30/17.

Will the season premiere of Once Upon a Time explain the absences of departed cast members like Snow, Charming, Emma, Belle and Zelena? — Jamie
Just because we’re likely not going to see certain people (very much or at all) next season does not mean we won’t hear about them. It’s “absolutely” the plan to find out what’s going on with them, according to EP Edward Kitsis. EP Adam Horowitz adds: “Yeah, we fully intend on that.” So at least there’s that.

Once Upon a Time: Scoop on Emilie de Ravin’s maternity leave from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

https://pmctvline2.files.wordpress.com/2016/04/142204_4114.jpg?w=510&h=340

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from this week's (Posted on 4/20/16) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Will Emilie de Ravin’s Belle now be missing from the last few episodes of Once Upon a Time, due to the actress’ maternity leave? Will Belle at least make an appearance in the finale? — Rebecca
Ausiello: Though Belle just subjected herself to a sleeping curse, I am hearing that viewers have in fact not seen the last of de Ravin this season, while Rumple’s expectant wife figure into the storyline through to the two-hour finale (airing May 15).

Once Upon a Time: Scoop on Belle related flashbacks in season 4 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from this week's (Posted on 8/7/14) Matt's Inside Line column.

Do you have any scoop about Once Upon a Time’s Belle that doesn’t involve Rumplestiltskin’s dagger? –Natalie
What if I told you that we just may get to see some of Belle’s life before she met Rumplestiltskin. That would fit the Belle, er bill, yes?

Once Upon a Time: Belle related scoop from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from this week's (Posted on 10/8/13) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: I heard that TVLine visited the Once Upon a Time set recently to interview the cast. Did Emilie de Ravin give anything away about what Belle will be doing in Storybrooke? –Tara
Ausiello: Sort of. At the time our Vlada Gelman saw de Ravin last Thursday, the actress shared, “I just shot some stuff in Storybrooke, actually, and it was nice to work with people there who I hadn’t usually worked with.” On the presumably non-Storybrooke front, de Ravin also revealed that Belle makes a new friend “who may be a mermaid. And that’s been really fun.”

Once Upon a Time: Scoop on the future of Storybrooke and more on season 3 from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich's weekly column Matt's Inside Line for the week of 6/13/13.

Does Once Upon a Time plan on telling the current stories of the characters in Storybrooke, or will Season 3 focus on Neverland and the Enchanted Forest? –Ellie
In case my previous scoopage on this subject did not reassure you that, as the headline said, “Storybrooke will not be forgotten,” I just confirmed that Emilie de Ravin is still a series regular for Season 3. Thus, it sounds like Belle will certainly have Maine events of her own to deal with back home.

Will Once Upon a Time explain how Mulan and Aurora helped Phillip get his soul back from the wraith? –JJ
Series cocreator Adam Horowitz confirms that yes, that burning question will be addressed during Season 3 — and likely on the sooner side, I reckon, since Jamie Chung and Sarah Bolger have midseason pilots (NBC’s Believe, ABC’s Mixology) to get to!

Once Upon a Time: Regina, Snow, Lacey/Belle and Rumplestiltskin related scoop from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez's The Spoiler Room column, which was posted on 3/13/13.

I know we’re going to see Regina and Snow feuding more than ever now that Snow killed Cora, but are we going to get to see Regina mourn a little? -- Trish
For sure. In fact, Lana Parrilla tells me that even though we’ll see Regina having a bit of a “one track mind” when it comes to revenge, “you’re definitely going to see [her pain.] There’s a moment of grieving and mourning her mother’s passing,” she says.

Sandra, I’m SO excited about “Lacey,” I can’t even tell you. Anything more you can report about Rumbelle in this episode? -- Kelly
I’m tapped out on “Lacey” scoop -- other than the fact that Emile de Ravin promised that the gold dress does appear. But how about this bit from Robert Carlyle on the pair’s next meeting after THAT phone call: “Something that does come out of that is that the phone call he makes to her when he's dying; she thinks there must be something true there. He actually visits her in hospital and says, 'Look, I know you don't have any memory of me, but my feelings for you are true.’ And she says [that she] could tell.' So we start to go on that journey." Can’t. Wait.

Once Upon a Time: Emilie de Ravin Promoted to Series Regular for Season 2-TVLine

According to TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich, Emilie de Ravin has been promoted to series regular for season 2 of Once Upon A Time. Here's excerpt from the article, which gives some scoop on de Ravin's promotion:

As Once scribe Jane Espenson recently explained to us, “We cast [Emilie] thinking that she’d be great for this but that it would probably be a one-shot — but if she didn’t get a pilot and she had a good time and she’s available, we knew that of course she’d be welcome back!”

De Ravin, whose ABC pilot Americana did not get picked up for the fall, appeared in a total of three Once Upon a Time episodes during the show’s freshman run.

My thoughts: I loved Emilie de Ravin as Belle in season 1, so I'm very happy that she has been made a series regular. On the other hand, I'm worried that Emilie de Ravin and Meghan Ory (Ruby/Red Riding Hood/Wolf) being made series regulars will cause the writers to continue to neglect a lot of the series regulars on the show. If there's one thing that I think the writers didn't do a very good job of in season 1 was trying to give all of the series regulars an equal or fair amount of screen time. Instead, the writers quickly got stuck on focusing primarily on Emma, Henry, Mary Margaret/Snow White, David/Prince Charming, Regina/The Evil Queen and Mr. Gold/Rumplestiltskin. While I love all of those characters, I'm also very interested in seeing more of the other characters, so that's definitely something that the writers try to do a better job of in season 2.

Once Upon a Time: Emilie de Ravin and Kristin Bauer van Straten to Return-TVLine

According to TVLine's Vlada Gelman, Emilie de Ravin will be reprising the role of Belle later this season on Once Upon a Time . Also, Kristin Bauer van Straten will reprising the role of Maleficent in an episode that's scheduled to air in May. Here's an excerpt from the article, which gives some details on Emilie de Ravin's upcoming return to the show:

De Ravin, who plays Rumpel’s true love Belle, will reprise her role in an episode airing next month. While her fairy tale character was recently seen giving love advice to dwarf Grumpy, it’s been a while since viewers have glimpsed her Storybrooke counterpart, who has been locked up in a ward by Regina.

“She’s sitting there [alive], with the person who loves her [Rumpelstiltskin] not realizing it, and he would be someone I would not want to piss off,” co-creator Eddie Kitsis previously teased.

My thoughts: I'm really excited that Emilie de Ravin will be making another appearance on the show. I'm hoping that we'll get to learn more about her Storybrooke counterpart and that Mr. Gold/Rumpelstiltskin will be reunited with her at some point in the future. As for Kristin Bauer van Straten's return, I wasn't all that crazy about the character Maleficent, so I'm not too excited to see her again.

Once Upon A Time: Belle related scoop from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich

Here's some scoop on Once Upon A Time from TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich's weekly column Matt's Inside Line for the week of 3/15/12.

Once Upon a Time | For those disappointed that my Paley panel (watch it here!) didn’t conjure up scoop on Belle, whom we know is being held prisoner beneath the Storybrooke hospital, here’s some intel from the red carpet. “I would be disappointed if you reveal her to be in Storybrooke and you don’t show that again,” series creator Eddy Kitsis teased. “But God help whoever put her there.” Robert Carlyle was of the same mind, opining that Rumpelstiltskin and Belle “will meet again. Definitely. But probably not in fairytale land.” And as for Regina’s role in the ruse, “If he ever finds out that [she] hid her away, there’s going to be trouble for sure.”

Once Upon A Time: Rumpelstiltskin/Mr. Gold related scoop from E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos

Here's some scoop on Once Upon a Time from Kristin Dos Santos' new Spoiler Chat Daily for Wednesday 3/7/12.

Kit4atw: Any news on Belle and Rumple on OUAT?
When we caught up with executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, our number one question was whether Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) will come face-to-face with his Belle (Emilie de Ravin), who is currently in a padded cell, by season's end? "All I can say is Emilie is coming back onto the show," Horowitz teases. "We're very excited to have her back." Kitsis ominously adds, "And God help whoever did that to her!"

Once Upon a Time: Season 1 Episode 14 Preview Eddie Kitsis & Adam Horowitz-TVLine

Here's an interview that TVLine's Vlada Gelman did with the executive producers and co-showrunners Eddie Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, which gives a preview of this Sunday's episode, which features Amy Acker as a fairy named Nova, Grumpy's girlfriend. The episode explores the backstory of Snow White's elf, Grumpy. Gelman also mentions that Emilie de Ravin will be making another appearance as Belle in this Sunday's episode, and she will share a scene with Grumpy. Here's an excerpt from the article, which gives some scoop on various other mysteries on the show:

WHO IS THE STRANGER? AND WHAT HE’S DOING WITH THE BOOK? | Not surprisingly, the answers to these two questions are deeply interconnected. When the consequences of August’s tampering with the book (and him getting it back to Henry) are revealed in a later episode, “it will inform who [he] is,” teases Kitsis. “Those pages are his story, you’d say.” Adds Horowitz: “What we saw August doing in that episode … is the first step in peeling back the onion on who this guy is and what his agenda in Storybrooke is. August’s goal is a very specific goal.” But if you think the handsome mystery man is the author of said book, you might want to guess again. “Who wrote it… will probably be something more for Season 2,” reveals Kitsis.

WILL MARY MARGARET AND DAVID EVER GET TOGETHER? | The Evil Queen’s curse that is keeping them apart, one way or another, is no easy-to-break spell, and as such it will “definitely test them,” says Kitsis. And Kathryn’s vanishing, an arc that will run through several episodes, will only add complications. Horowitz, however, promises that the writers are “building to something this season with [Mary and David] that we’re excited to share with you.”

WHO’S COMING BACK? | All you Sheriff Graham lovers, brace yourselves: A possible encore by Jamie Dornan is up in the air. The producers would absolutely like to have the actor back, but “it is a scheduling thing that is beyond our control,” Kitsis explains. “Right now, we are trying to move Heaven and Earth to hopefully make it happen.” One return TVLine previously scooped is David Anders as Dr. Whale, on March 11. However, “the reveal of who he is [in fairytale land] will not be this season.”

WHO IS HENRY’S FATHER? | That’s another question that won’t be answered until “further down the line” even though the EPs know who he is and “have a very specific plan for that character.” Could he be someone we’ve already seen on the show? While they wouldn’t they wouldn’t confirm or deny the speculation, Horowitz did offer this: “If we do it right, it’s an a-ha moment.”

WHAT IS THE EVIL QUEEN’S BEEF WITH SNOW? | “She just owes her money,” jokes Kitsis. But in all seriousness, keep an eye out for Episode 18, to air in April, because that’s when “you’ll find out why the Evil Queen hates Snow White so much.”

Once Upon a Time: Bosses Dish on "Mad" Guest Stars, David and Mary Margaret's Future and More!-E! Online

According to E! Online's Tierney Bricker, the previously mysterious role that Sebastian Stan will be playing is The Mad Hatter from the story of Alice in Wonderland. Stan will appearing episode 17.

Bricker also gives some more scoop on Sebastian Stan's role and other guest-star roles in upcoming episodes in the following excerpt from the article:

Guest Stars Galore!
Gossip Girl bad boy Sebastian Stan is set to guest star in the show's 17th episode, which takes place in Wonderland. Yeah, that Wonderland. Stan's role? Why, the Mad Hatter of course! "We find out how the Mad Hatter became mad," Kitsis teases. "Sebastian is so good in this role," he adds. "He's brilliant." So how will this Wonderland be different from what we already know? "The first [difference] you'll notice is in who the Mad Hatter was and his backstory. Then what Wonderland is and [its] changes is something we hope to explore also," Kitsis says. "We're hoping this tells you the story of the Mad Hatter, but will also leave you questions about Wonderland."

Vampire Diaries and Alias star David Anders will also return later this season as the nefarious Dr. Whale, but his fairy-tale counterpart will not be revealed this season. His Alias costar (and Dollhouse and Angel actress) Amy Acker makes her OUAT debut in episode 14. "She is going to help tell the story of how Grumpy became Grumpy," Kitsis says of Acker's fairy character, Nova.

Don't worry, we didn't forget about Belle (Emilie de Ravin), whose Storybrooke self is currently sittin' pretty in a secret padded cell. "She has a nice little scene in 14," Kitsis teases. "She's sitting up there with the person who loves her, not realizing it, and that would be someone I would not want to piss off," Kitsis says. Still, fans will have to wait a little longer for answers regarding Belle. "She's going to be back probably more toward the end of the season," Kitsis says.

Finally, Barbara Hershey will guest star as Regina/the Evil Queen's (Lana Parrilla) mother. Of her character, Kitsis would only say, "Evil is not born, it's made. Her mother has a specific viewpoint about the world." Horowitz adds, "Hopefully you'll get a great insight into Regina and why she is the way she is."

Bricker also gives some scoop what's going to be happening with Mary Margaret, David and Kathryn in the upcoming episodes.

Here's some scoop on Once Upon A Time from Kristin Dos Santos' new Spoiler Chat Daily for Friday 2/17/12.

Ladiebug91: Anything on OUAT? Please please pretty please?
Prepare to see more of Emilie de Ravin on the show as Belle and most likely her Storybrooke counterpart who is currently residin' (aka trapped) in a secret padded cell under the hospital. (How awesome was that reveal by the way?!) When we asked de Ravin if we'd be seeing her on the ABC hit show again soon, her answer made us very happy. "You will actually," she says. "Hopefully even more because it's been really fun."

Keck's Exclusives: First Look at Emilie de Ravin as Once Upon a Time's Belle-Today's News: Our Take | TVGuide.com

Emilie de Ravin is getting lost in a whole new fantasy world. On the Valentine's Day episode of ABC's Once Upon a Time, tentatively scheduled for February 12, the former Lost star steps into the slippers of Beauty and the Beast's Belle. "Emilie projects a very natural strength and warmth, which are characteristics we wanted to explore with Belle," explains Adam Horowitz, who, along with writing and producing partner Edward Kitsis, kicked off a six-year stint on Lost writing a Claire scene.

While this take on Beauty will veer from the traditional tale as old as time, Edward says Belle will interact with her father, crazy old Maurice, the brutish Gaston and, of course, the Beast. (Alas, no singing dinnerware.) "We have a fun spin on it," he says. Later this season, expect visits from Aladdin and his genie!
