Jeanette: Give up the Scandal goods!
The "monster" is taking center stage. "I just finished shooting an episode that I was crazy grateful for, that was very Cyrus-centric, and it takes my character through all sorts of time periods in my life," Jeff Perry teases. And yes, it is the episode featuring the return of Dan Bucatinsky as James (RIP!). Warning: Perry says the episode will probably make fans cry.

Shane: Loving Abby this season on Scandal! What's coming up for my favorite redhead?
You know what they say about secrets not being fun unless you share with everyone? "You get to find out a lot more about Abby in the next two episodes," Darby Stanchfield previews. "There's some more personal storyline that comes from surprisingly leaked out. It's going to be fun." Oh snap, a leak?!

What's up with Portia de Rossi on Scandal? — Nancy
Jeff Perry teases that de Rossi will figure "prominently" next season as a "professional in politics," and he will be part of her arc, as Fitz and Cyrus have a renewed focus on work. We still don't know her name yet, but might she be the "Julia" in the first episode's title, "Randy, Red, Superfreak and Julia"?

Scandal: Scoop on Fitz and Mellie's children and Cyrus related scoop on episode 3x11 "Ride, Sally, Ride" from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

Here's some scoop on Scandal from this week's (Posted on 2/11/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: Any new intel on Fitz and Mellie’s two oldest children on Scandal? —Dan R.
Ausiello: Jerry and Karen (as played by Dylan Minnette and Madeline Carroll) will buck the episodic drama’s annoying teen trend and be “complicated, substantial and interesting people” in their own right, according to their onscreen dad Tony Goldwyn, who adds that their arrival from boarding school “really escalates” things for the Grant household.

Question: Please make my day with some Scandal scoop. —Whittney
Ausiello: When the show returns on Feb. 27, Cyrus will be in full-tilt damage-control mode, both on the home and work fronts. “He has rocked his marriage to the core and he also screwed up every chance he has of keeping Sally on the ticket,” explains his portrayer, Jeff Perry. “Cyrus is more scared of what he’s done than we’ve ever seen him, and he’s scrambling like hell to get out of it.” BONUS SCOOP: Perry tells us he’s been spending “a bit of time” working with Columbus Short (Harrison) of late, which makes us go, Hmmm….

Here's some scoop on Scandal from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 12/18/13.

Jacqui: Cannot believe I have to wait until February for a new episode of Scandal. I don't know how I will survive. Maybe some scoop can keep me going?
Oh, we see what you did there. Well played, reader. Well played. You can expect to see Cyrus and Leo (guest star Paul Adelstein) to battle it out over Sally Langston in the new year. "Leo is already ridiculously formidable for Cyrus. It's like this guy is no joke. He is a scary, smart mercenary. He is so scary, he is so damn smart, he pisses Cyrus off, I'll tell you that," Jeff Perry teases, adding that there is "no question"  they will be duking it out for control of Sally. "Cyrus and Leo are going to be butting heads."

Yes, it most certainly can and shame on you for thinking otherwise! "Buckle your seats, Gladiators, because if you were missing any kind of adrenaline rush, it's coming. It's coming. It's crazy!" Jeff Perry teases. And fans can look forward to more amazing scenes between Perry and Bellamy Young as he spills, "Mellie and I are aggressively trying to fight off all challengers and create a Fitz reelection and some of our strategy gets us into tremendous hot water. It gets me into domestic hot water with James." Ugh, just wake us up when it's 10 p.m. on Thursday, OK?!

Scandal scoop for Gladiators!! — Mara
If you saw the sneak peek I offered up earlier, then you already know: Mellie is going to come in and help Olivia and Fitz help figure out a way out of this sticky situation the administration find itself in. And at EW’s pre-Emmy party this weekend, the gorgeous Bellamy Young elaborated, saying “Mellie is ready to handle things….she has very specific ideas about who to throw under the bus. She will see her plan implemented come hell or high water.” But, she warned, “of course it will inevitably blow up in her face as Mellie’s plans tend to.”

I will take any form of Scandal info you can give me. #Prettypleasewithfitzontop — Roslyn
How can I deny that offer?! Here’s something from Jeff Perry: “Somewhere in the first couple of episodes, Cyrus is transported to an ominous location in the trunk of a car.”

Are you sitting down? You should be because what we're going to tell you about the always-dramatic duo might cause you to pass out: They will be happy! "We are in a pretty good place," Jeff Perry tells us. "There will always be things that are always a bone of contention with him being a member of the white house press core though, so we'll have to see if James crosses the line.
